Happy New Year PR Forum!

The first Reality Teamwork event of 2010 is tonight (or this afternoon depending on your timezone)

We haven't seeded the server the last couple of days for obvious reasons, but from today we will be seeding the server everyday from around 6pm GMT. Please remember that the RT server is for users of PR Mumble VOIP - we kick non-mumble users when the server is full - the guide and download are here :

PR Mumble VOIP Guide

If anyone experiences any problems on the server, you can contact me or Himalde via PM or the RT x-Fire list (see my sig) - alternatively you can make a post on our forum:

Reality Teamwork

Hope to see you all there!

RT is definitely the best PR server up to date!
I wasn't there man, but I've tried it!

I dont think that the RT server was ever better than TG, but it was close when we managed to fill the server and password it on normal nights.

We have recently got some more clans on board, so we are hoping to get RT consistently filled, which means that hopefully we will get 100% mumble use again in the next few weeks. Other clans are still welcome, so if you like the server and play there often, then contact me and we will consider giving a trusted member admin access. We are still having to kick large numbers of players due to not having mumble, so please have a look at the details here and download it! :

We appreciate the compliment and you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I don't think that it is appropriate to make this type of statement in RT's thread. Space is a great guy, runs an excellent server and is just as dedicated to having a professional, teamwork orientated server as TG is.

Best of luck getting RT full again - I'm sure that in the very near future we're all going to be logging quite a few hours of PR ;) and our servers will have lines of players waiting to get in for some quality action!

Thanks d1sp0sabl3. ;)

Most server admins are not competitive with each other, and work together to make PR a better experience for everyone - whichever server they choose to play on.

Hopefully once we have got things back on track, we can set up that RT vs TG skrim again.

I do know that Space is a great guy and he runs a great server (hence why Mumble is a must for SL's and COM's and usage of communication is a must, as well).

Why I said
sakils2 wrote:I am sorry, but TG has already taken that place. :p
?

Because I know, I will enjoy teamwork with like minded players.

Problem with RT is- I've seen the server being full only a few times. Perhaps, because of the different timezone.

But I do wish your server best of luck and grow larger and with even stronger community.

Cheers!

We have been kind of empty the last months. But the last week, at least 5 days (I'm beginning to loose count) we have been full every night. With 100% mumble population at peak times several nights, but a few non mumblers soon rejoined. We are not yet where we want to be in terms of team play, and mumble use. At times the teamwork has been good, no fantastic, at other times not very impressive, but it's improving day by day. I want to say thank you to all that are supporting the RT community in any way: The server hosts (RR-clan and ]o0d[), the players, my fellow admins on RT and all others that like, use and promote mumble.

BTW It's fantastic to see this again. I had to flip my screen from 1920x1200 to 1200x1900 to even get this screen shot :) . It's "just" 56 mumblers on this screen shot (now you don't need to count).

Its true that we've been quiet for a while, but RT is definitely back - we are always full during EU peak playing time, and hopefully in a few weeks we will get back to the point where we can password the server all week. At the moment we are still "educating" alot of new PR players about Mumble and how to use it, so we aren't quite there yet, but give it a couple more weeks, and I'm sure the server will be back to where it was. ;-)

The main thing we want it for more clans to make it their "home server". We already have some of the best clans but we want more!!! The clans increase the level of skill and teamwork, which results in a better experience for everyone on the server.

PR 0.9 will include an installer for PR Mumble 0.5. Therefore on the Reality Teamwork servers, we are expecting a bit of chaos as alot of new mumble users join the server. RT is the only PR server with a mumble rule, so its a great place to experience the benefits of mumble. If you want to install mumble early then please follow our guide here:

A Guide to PR Mumble 0.5 - Reality Teamwork

If you have any problems installing it, you can join the RT x-fire group in my sig below and message me or another RT Admin - we're more than happy to help you with any problems.

Reality Teamwork will only be running new/revised maps for the first few days of 0.9. Depending on what happens, we may password the server so if we do this, the password will be displayed when you join our mumble channel.

This is the maplist for the 0.9 launch on the Reality Teamwork Server - the server is now passworded - you will see the RT server password in the mumble window when you join our channel.

Best server, but it's ridiculously hard to get in. I've been Auto Deploying for about 40 mins now, just because I lost connection from the server while playing on it.

We have a reversed slot to allow supporting members to join, so when you use the auto deploy feature, ensure you enter "63" as the max player numbers. Obviously the servers busy at the moment, but I did manage to get on within a couple of minutes earlier when I joined.

I've set it to 63, but it's still hard to get in, haha.
Well, I got in after about 45 mins and after one hour of play I lost connection and I'm back to were I started again.
It's great that RT is popular, but I want to be able to play aswell.

What happened to the other RT server though? Didn't we have at least one EU and one US?

The US server never really took off, and running one server in one time zone is already enough work. We might look into running one again in the future if we know we can make it work.

If you're really struggling to get into the RT EU server, then join the x-fire group in my sig - you will always find several admins on-line ( They have "RT Admin" after their name ) An admin should pretty much always be able to find you a slot within a few minutes.

Also if you donate to the Reality Teamwork Community via our forum, then you will get a reserved slot on the server, meaning you never have to wait.

There isn't a staff load for a US Server, all the EU Guys who get on Mumble go to the EU servers understandably.

If Space were to open a US Branch it'd need some dedicated clans, etc.
More or less he has 2 EU Servers so that would make 3.
And we Barley Fill 2..
