question reguarding maplist.list

the server i regularly play on changes maplists often, and loading into the game just to look at the maplist and then loging back off is annoying. i know you can send a maplist.list command from ingame to the server, but does anyone know if it would be possable to write a .bat file to do it from the desktop? make a .bat that would send the maplist.list command to ___.___.___.___ port: _____ ? and get an answer back?

You'd still need to open the game etc, but it's a big improvement none the less.
Loved when TG used to post their current maplist on the forums, but that only lasted a few months.

the issue with the link provided is that the server your on has to support it. ie. thay cant share there server rules. you eather get a space to show your server rules/coments OR you get to show the next few maps.
hmmm, maybe PRPSY could be changed a bit to show the maplist. it already shows all the players and there points and teams, theoretically it could be edited to show the maplist as well.

Most servers, or at least most british and american servers, have scrolling rules, and their rules don't all fit in the space allotted anyhow.
