I doubt you will find someone to UVmap it, its the most boring job to do for a modeler.

That is a really nice model. PSC might be interested in it for our african theater, if you want to send a copy to me I should be able to find a UV mapper and texture artist for it.

What exactly is the source though?

Well,this is not only my model!!!
This is remodel of USI Mi25!!!Nosferaty say - Мы можем переделать эту модель,она наша!!!(Translite:We can edit thats model,this is ours model)!!!
P.s Mi24/35 - very very old chopper!!!He have many modifications!!!This is last modification(Mi24VM/Mi35M3),and ARF and Russia no this modifications!!!They only for MECs and Venezuelian Army!!!
Weapons - 8 missles ATAKA-V(AT),2 blocks B8-V20A(40 rockets),2 missles IGLA-V(AA)
For Russian we use Mi24PN:

They no have rotate cannon,but this is not problem for destroying enemy tanks,or if they use for attack chechens they no needet guidet weapon(I think - better idea to make Mi8 with 2 blocks B8-V20A)
I think ARF can use thats choppers,becouse YaKB-12.7 MG are litte b...tch on modern combat

About jet take off - yes,mostly Mi24 take off like jets,if they have many weapons and/or supply/passangers!!!But with standart weapon(2 blocks of rockets S-8 and some AA/AT missles) they can take of like chopper!

I'm thinking for EO operations in africa, where the PSC has always been meant to portray a more mainstream military, and PSCs have used armed helicopters in the past.
