Asymmetrical Balance

As we all know, warfare for two factions IRL is almost never an even match. one or the other usually starts with some kind of advantage.

but that's not so fun to play in a game. so for the most part, all of PRs maps have a symmetrical distribution of assets across the battlefield. only some maps have asymmetrical distribution. it has proven to spice up gameplay a lot.

I'd like to discuss new ideas for asymmetrical balance maps. please post detailed suggestions; they should include everything from map name (maybe a new map with certain attributes, detail it all) to number of assets on each side (possibly suggest new assets, but try and stick to using assets that are already in game.)

from the top of my head the only working asymmetrical set up so far were:

assaulting TOWs(anti tank jeeps) v. assaulting TANKS set up on Qwai River.
assaulting amphibious APCS + HELIs v. defending APCs set up on maps such as Muttrah.

A number of PR maps have some form of asymmetrical warfare and were currently trying to take the idea a bit further in Combined Arms. If you wanna know more go to our site...

I assume you're only talking about AAS? Insurgency is totally asymmetrical. Personally I think asymmetrical battles are way more fun - each side has a totally different play style.

No Suggestions until after the .9 release.

Its a simple rule guys. Try and follow it please. If it looks,smells, and walks like a suggestion even in the guise of a discussion we are going to lock it.
