Patches to download before 1.5?

Bit of a nub question.

Got my new PC today and so I'm installing BF2 and PR2 again.

However when I went to update BF2 from vanilla (unpatched) to 1.41, and then log in game, it indicates that I'm still at 1.1. or so, and that I'm not at 1.41.

Getting a little confused over this...though 1.41 included every patch before it?

Or does the 1.5 1.9gb file include every patch before it and I'm wasting my time downloading anything other than patch 1.5?

Okay, so I patched it again, and this time I noticed something.

I remember rightly that 1.41 reduced the number of Missiles a Attack Helicopter could fire one after another until needing to reload.

It was 12 before the patch If I remember rightly.

I checked and there were 8 missiles it carried, which means, the 1.41 patch worked, however it just isn't showing the right version.

Another thing.. if i go under the community tab and then go to custom game, it says I can load bf2 1.4.. which further supports that the 1.4 patch may have installed properly afterall. Although I'd never seen it do this before, which is perculier.

Can anybody else confirm this?

We're at patch 1.5 for BF2

And I *think* that might be three patches 1.4 >1.41>1.5
