Re: Donations to Project Reality
This is why I was happy to donate, because you can get a sincere response from the Devs like fuzzhead. The thing is, I can go out and buy a game and spend $50-$60 on it and the developers over at EA, or Blizzard or whatever, will never know and never care to know who I am. But at least here, I get a chance to get to know and maybe even speak directly with some of the developers of PR. Keep up the good work fellas.

Is there a way to see how much in total you've donated? Going through each month would take forever.

Just above, between Developers Blogs and Members List, click on Project Reality, then click My Donations, left side of the screen: Donation Stats

So how much have you donated? : )
So what's the overall record in a month? We're at $320 in this very moment.

Hm, facepalm
105 dollars so far and I'm not stopping. I'll much rather spend money on PR than any other game/money hungry game corporation. Even if the profit went to the PR team's drug abuse and alcoholic problems

Dude, haha. Have you donated every month?
I also think that we should beat the record in Feburary. It will be worth it, as we'll be playing 0.9 by then.

Well, I plan on donating again in February. If and when they come out with v.9 and everyone who's playing it loves it, it only takes like 5 mins and $10 and I'm sure we can beat this month's amount.Lucke189 wrote:Dude, haha. Have you donated every month?

Put your money clips away boys. Anyone note the donations meter lately? Holy mackerel it is only the 4th of the month and donations almost equal the amount desired this month. Do you think this has anything to do with a pending release?

It also looks like they've increased the desired amount this month. Wasn't it 320 last month, now it's 500?ZAP44 wrote:Put your money clips away boys. Anyone note the donations meter lately? Which just makes it even better.

Re: Donations to Project Reality
Does it matter where it's at? The goal isn't to just meet what the Devs are asking for, but to meet what we feel is the value of their hard work? Anything over the requested about is just a bonus, since we are getting so much bonus stuff here.ZAP44 wrote:Put your money clips away boys. Anyone note the donations meter lately? Well honestly, the Devs could spend all this money on crack and hookers for all I care, as long as they keep putting out good releases and new updated maps and content.ZAP44 wrote:They did increase it after my post...hehe lol!!! I understand that not everyone can afford to donate, but hey, that's what distinguishes the truly appreciative from the rest.[R-DEV]Spearhead wrote:Need more funds for release party....

Since I prepaid BF:BC2 and tried the BETA and it basically wasn't my cup of tea I got a refund and sent the money to the R-DEVS.

Long overdue but I finally fixed the Paypal stuff. Well spent on the DEV's, make more of the same you already are serving. Worth supporting.
People without imagination, consideration and plain lacking any *ation makes me question Gods Great plan.

Thanks guys, it really is appreciated. Donations are voluntary, we thank everyone who has donated in the past so far. Especially those who have repeated their donations multiple times. Although we don't spend it on hookers and blow, it actually enables us to look at options for software and engines for future (and ongoing
