FSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS(me: "MOVE THAT HUMVEE!!")SSSSSSSS
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM
"Humvee is down..."
Happened twice at Kashan, one hit the tank, the other one hit the AA-HMMVV and it blew up. Probably a HAT? Something similar also happened on Operation Archer. I saw a taliban aiming a RPG towards our HMMVV and I say "MOVE THAT HUMVEE!!" the RPG missed by an inch. I hoped into the drivers seat, moved, stopped, and got RPGed, and screamed at by my SL XD

Re: [List] 'oh ****' moments
The first time that I played Operation Snow Storm the map's Merlin was flying me up to my squad. They were assaulting a control point and so I told the pilot to land back a bit, behind my squad. He didn't. The pilot flew right into the middle of the control point under heavy fire. Needless to say, we lost the helicopter. I had never taken so much fire while playing PR before. The pilot had ignored my warnings and right as we landed I saw three guys running toward the helo with grenades.

In training server - jet training. Me and 5 more guys are in a line with MEC bombers ready to take off, I see 2 friendly tanks heading toward us with full speed.
0.9 is not out yet - oh ****

I was bleeding out on Muttrah, and I was out of ammo. A MEC soldier came running at me, possibly out of ammo himself.
He had his knife out and was about 5 meters away, when my friend in a chopper flew over. (I had requested a supply crate moments before).
He dropped the crate, and it bounced off a building, landing right on the MEC soldier and killing him.
I was like, oh ****.... when he came at me with a knife, but when I saw that crate, I was like, OH ****, then it killed him and Im like, Oh good... O_o
My friend in the chopper was like.... "waaaaht the hell..LOL?!"

Re: [List] 'oh ****' moments
I was playing a round of Jabal Al Burj, and we had just finally taken east beach. Our squad was sitting on the western hill, savouring victory, when we suddenly hear the faint rotor blade noises coming at us at a rapid rate. Before we can even react though, there is a loud explosion (oh ****) and my screen goes black. According to the only guy in our squad who was looking up at the time, it was a trans huey in a rapid nosedive. Despite knocking out our entire squad, their tickets dried up just about when we had figured out what the hell had happened! I've now learnt the hard way that celebratory bunny hop contests are not as safe as one may think.

Sat inside a building at a village in Kashan, staying quiet, watching an enemy convoy roll over the hill in the distance towards me. Quick comms with my SL.... *BADOOOOOOMSSSHHHH!!!* A bomb takes out the half of the village that I'm not in and leaves just a few buildings standing around me.....

Yamalia as a russian Reconsquad: My squadmate and me where lieing north of Objective Lima (The one in the north) observing Canadians, when suddenly a whole Canadian squad appeared around us. We didn't move and actually it worked. After 2 minutes beneath the Canadians they chose to go south and joined the defenders of the Objective. (To get killed on arrival by our arriving squads and me of course

Re: [List] 'oh ****' moments
First time being on Silent Eagle as Russians. We were assaulting airfield because it was the last flag. The a-10 was up bugging us. So I thought "well he'll never look or kill the chinook" So I went to hide in it. I told my squad "I'm hiding in this chinook" then I hear A-10 guns and I see blood everywhere. I was like "What the..." and then I hear the chinook blow up and then I die. My squad was laughing their butts off. It shows my obliviousness to hiding.

Playing on Fools Road, gunning the TOW Spandrel. We decide to go hide out at Train Yard, since there was too much infantry at Dylym Village, and the next flag required their armor to go through Train. We were cruising along, when we see what appears to be the husk of a Scimitar on the road. Then it's gun moves. We are still going 90+ million miles per hour. That was my oh **** moment. Followed by the driver screaming "HIT AND RUUUUN" and ramming the spandy right into the scimitar.
Silent Eagle... my entire squad had procured US kits, and looked alot like US soldiers. We were holding a house, and had just 'cleared' the area, until this...

Enemy SAW gunner walks into our house, looks at us for a few seconds, we look at him, and no one thinks anything of it. We look like Bros. Then the SAW gunner opens fire and one of my squad members ask "Hey why are you shooting?" in VOIP. Needless to say, we were caught with our pants well around our ankles, and we didn't even realize it.

Operation Barracuda on (IIRC) the Tactical Gamer server.
My squad was on the PRC side, and the enemy had just taken North Rocks. So, being the upstanding team players that we were, we decided to slink on over there and take it back.
Oh **** Moment Number 1: The realization that were were the ONLY SQUAD doing so. The rest were content to **** around at Main.
Oh **** Moment Number 2: For whatever reason we had both an AR and a Marksman (me) in the squad. Luckily, our SL knew what he was doing. Myself and the AR gunner camped out in a bunker with a good view of the approach as our teammates slinked over towards the flag. After several painstaking minutes of watching and waiting, the rest of the squad crested the hill and were lost to our view. Almost immediately, there was a storm of gunfire...
"Fuck! Lead down."
"Don't worry, I've got it...****! Medic down, medic down..."
"Will somebody pop smoke already?!"
"OH SHIT!
And so on, and so forth.
The AR gunner runs over the hill to try and salvage something of the situation, and almost instantly gets himself perished. Leaving me, in a bunker, sandwiched between at least three squads of enemy infantry...And is that a LAV I hear approaching?
Oh **** Moment Number 3: The realization that at least some of the fire that killed off my squad had come from across the water. Upon looking over there, I noticed a squad of infantry setting up an FOB as well as an HMG nest.
So, being the upstanding squad member that I am, I call in the location to my (respawning) Lead, and prepare to sell my life dearly. They have no idea I'm there, and I easily manage to pick off one or two of them, and wing the medic coming in to revive them. However, this directly leads to...
Oh **** Moment Number 4: The squad across the water has a sniper/marksman as well.
I get winged, I drop a field dressing, and I slink away towards the other side of the bunker.
Oh **** Moment Number 5: The hill where my squad got wasted is now home to an AR gunner and HAT kit with a perfect view of my position. Luckily they haven't spotted me yet. Two shots, two dead tangos.
Oh **** Moment Number 6: Throughout this entire debacle my squad had been attempting to make it back to my position. However, they kept getting killed off en-route. It was during a conversation with my lead that I first realized that the Americans thought me enough of an annoyance that they had called in the attack huey to blast the bunker where I had taken shelter. Luckily, I survived that as well.
Oh **** Moment Number 7: Gunfire from the other side of the water tells me that something's going on. I look over to see a cloud of smoke. My squad's showed up! Finally! Sadly, they're pinned down by the HMG bunker. So, I happily pop the gunner...And then realize that they also have a TOW missile set up. I swing my rifle over, but too little too late. The missile destroys by beloved bunker.
Amazingly, I'm untouched. I sprint over towards the cover of the smoke, just in time for the round to end. We've won too, 37-0.
Though I only racked up two permanent kills, I managed to keep all the squads in the area occupied, and survived, all on my lonesome, for about fifteen minutes.

Re: [List] 'oh ****' moments
Time: Last nite early morning
Location: Jabal city, Hotel roof, G3 Sg1 on semi
Tickets: 10, alarm ringing in
I'm scoping around the hilltops surrounding the city, about 150-200 Americans had been killed so far trying to capture the holy grounds. All of the sudden, rocket fire and a Huey can be heard attacking the outskirts of the city to the east. I turn around only to see the attack Huey diving away from his strafing, right in my direction.
Still scoped, Has he gets closer (50-100m) and stabilize into a straight moving motion, I click on the full automatic mode and just empty up my mag into the pilot's windows.
Next thing you know the pilot is dead and the helo goes crashing into some apt blocks with his co-pilot, Game ends at the exact same time.
MEC has won the round
MEC 8 - USA 0
lol

lol Tom I can't remember how often I've done entire squads with a team kit, the fraction of second it takes for the guys to realize is all it takes.TomDackery wrote:Playing on Fools Road, gunning the TOW Spandrel. With the Russia vs militia maps its even easier as you can spam them commands in Russian lol, One time I had a militia kit running up behind a full squad, i could hear them go like "yesshh" and other simple commands so as I ran up behind I would answer as well.
Everything went cool until I got about 2m behind them, and my guy said "HURRRRRAAAAA" instead of the other one. LOL. Needless to say they all turned around to see me **** back my 47 and slug them down. LOL
good times

Re: [List] 'oh ****' moments
One of the funniest Oh **** moments in recent memory was driving a logistics truck with a friend in Kozelsk. I was an officer and he was a combat engineer, and we had both procured our kits from some Russians we'd taken down with a technical.
We set out from the Chechen base and drove all the way down to set up and FOB right near the Russian main in some trees on a hill to the north of it.
Once it was set up, we got ready to leave and I revved the engine and the truck lurched forward down the hill just as engines from the Russian base got really loud (they had been purring the whole time we were there). We started to slide down the hill and all of a sudden a troop transport, an apc, a tank and another logi poured out in convoy from the base.
Seeing as we were dead already, I drove down and straight into them, hoping to throw them into disarray with worries of friendly fire and confusion. As we approached, the Tank stopped and the gun didn't turn, while the space between him and the APC widened, so I drove straight into it and right between the APC and the tank. Hilariously, and unforgettably, it worked. We drove all the way to Tunnels in this convoy, and once we arrived, I just idled next to the APC, troop truck and Logi. I dropped some crates to authenticate ourselves, and my friend Anger fist got out of the Logi and dropped his two ieds in the whole pile of vehicles and guys setting up the FOB.
He hopped straight back in, I said "Roger That" with my radio, and we drove off into the sunset before pulling over and blowing them all away. Eight kills total, two trucks destroyed and an APC. The funniest part was that when I said "Roger That", the enemy SL replied, and I like to think he said "Thank you".
A negative Oh **** moment was in Fools Road as Russians. I joined late and started a squad, and quickly had a full inf squad (one of those games where there are 6 vehicle and asset whore squads, and one locked clan inf squad (who complain about no one using team work) with ten or so unsquaded players, or randomly squaded for kits.
We crossed the bridge into Dylym Village, and it was an open flag. The Chechens had tanks back then, and I wanted to spread our men out so we could still hold if we came under attack from one tank. I ordered pairs of men into three houses and to stay hidden and guard their windows and doors while the cavalry arrived.
Each of us walked in before one guy said "hey, there's an IED in here! i didnt know they had IEDS!'.
Then another guy radioed; "nah, it's okay, it's like a model issue, we have one too.'
Then the guy I was with added 'yeah, every house has one, i saw another one in a house near the bridge and this has one too'.
Then the whole village exploded.

Waiting for a Evac (BlackHawk at Ramiel in the Northern Desert) we see him, all happy because we were low on ammo and were in instense firefights. He wants to land Boom! Hit by a RPG, the blackhawk starts spinning towards our direction, we ran for our live the BH crashed only 2/3m from us , everbody bleeding but luckily the medic could save us. So we went back into the city and found some small supply crates son we could start fighting again.

Re: [List] 'oh ****' moments
i stole an insurgant sniper kit after an apc killed him in the building we were clearing out. i proceeded to cover my squad and got 9 kills. then, i saw a pair of insurgants across the river by the hotel. i noticed one with a marksman, and i knew he was looking for me, so i took a shot and killed him, and lost his friend. he managed to dive down behind some concrete barriers and grabbed the marksman kit. then, i quick sat up, took a shot at me which barely missed my head, and i took a shot at his head at the same time while ducking behind my cover. thinking i mustve killed him, (and acting carelessly) i peaked around the corner and saw a red towel-covered head peaking up at me through my scope, and *BANG* im dead. i must say it was fun hunting the hunters though
