My friend saw me yesterday mlaying PR0.9.. he kind'a freak out and he wants this game too.
He have original copy of Battlefield 2 . But i saw that the system req for this game are different from BF2. So the game will work on mavhine like this:
Intel Dual Core E2220 2.4Ghz
1Gb of Ram
Ati 9250 (I know very lame)
Windows XP Service Pack 3.

No. Judging by the issues many people are experiencing with the new version and especially with the low end gfx card and small amount of RAM he will not be able to play it.

The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

No way, man. I have a slightly better specs, yet the game is unplayable for most of the time with the new patch. It seems to me that the requirements got sky high with .9

I don't believe 1GB of ram is enough for PR.
Personally I am running on 2GB and I wish I had 4GB right now, I could be but my other stick is unstable and I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive.

Depends. I'm running similar (by alot) specs with aa8 af16 textures high geo medium lighting medium and shadows medium at around 30fps. it sounds weird, but the best performance I've had on pr is .0909. Dl it but do not install then delete everything you don't need, programs files etc. Run spybot sd and avast antivirus, defrag, and update your video card drivers.
hope that helps
my typing sucks cause this is from a mobile.

Well my specs are the same as that apsrt from the graphics card (I have a 9550). On most maps, it's not that bad but you will have to have all settings on low apart from view distance (100%) and effects (high).DoubleCore wrote:My friend saw me yesterday mlaying PR0.9.. he kind'a freak out and he wants this game too.

EDIT: I only have a 3.4ghz single core actually, so you should get better performance than me.

An [R-DEV] (Jaymz? iirc) that upgrading isn't the answer. Don't upgrade unless you need to. Try it out first then if you need to upgrade, upgrade.

The Graphics card is the main problem, extra RAM would be nice, but not required. I play with 1Gig DDR2-800, so I know the limitation of one gig of RAM. But yes, I would test before upgrading
