Same here, Random crashes. I only get a mem or dll error when loading Lashkar valley, Iron Ridge and Dragon fly. On Yamilia ( Canada Vs Russia? ) I get a graphic bug only when looking NW! I tried to take a screen shot with X-fire but the game crashed.

Basically, v0.9 is unplayable for me at the moment. I spent three quarters of an hour server searching and loading and crashing for aroung 15 mins gameplay. ( It was nearly worth it  )

Having said all that, 0.9 is looking great - fantastic work PR team. I´ll be looking out for a fix.

I´m on XP 32, Asus P5Q, 3Gb RAM, Radeon HD 5970 (2Gb), Core 2 quad Q9300. It goes like the clappers. I ran PR v0.87 on everything High and full AA.
Kind regards

Experience is something that you get after having needed it most.

christ i just press ESC to acces the menu and BOOM CTD - major stability FAIL

not to mention a GUARENTEED CTD during every map load, and if you're lucky only 3 CTDs during a map, instead of 5

Wow, and I only thought it was me.
I mean, I was just enjoying a kickass coop on veteran server, (operation barracuda)
and as we were about to win and I was all *insert awesome face here*, it CTD'd, and I was :?

Would be nice to see a fix for this :)
Great work with the mod, Lovin' it!

When asking for help,
please remember to post your:
Operating System (OS)
systems specs (MoBo, GFX, Audio, generally hardware),
And a brief history before and after problem started. (Did you change anything? new drivers, new Anti-Vir...)
Please describe as precisely as possible when your problem hits and
what you have already tried.
what you mean by "crash" (CTD, reboot, error sound, freez or bluescreen/BSOD)

for the memory.dll problem:

Random CTDs can be caused by multiple things.
generally they don't throw an error message which can sometimes be achieved though:
to get an error msg from bf2 you can start it in windowed mode:
change your shortcut's parameters to "+fullscreen 0" ie:

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +fullscreen 0
try reproducing the error and
then google the error message you get from bf2 if you do not find a solution post back here
  1. PB not up-to-date - manually update PB
here is how to update punkbuster manually:
    https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ost1004244
  2. system and drivers not up-to-date - get the latest drivers
  3. files corrupted - reinstall bf2 and pr can help
  4. generally PC not being able to cope with the requirements of the game - close background tasks, lower the settings, get HW upgrades
  5. overheating - check your temps, lower the settings, get driver updates, dedust the pc, remove the side panel of the pc
  6. corrupted hardware - use a memtest tool to check the RAM
here is another thread that goes abit deeper into analyzing a ctd problem, you might want to look into it
