How do I lase?

I stumbled upon this problem on silent eagle. I was sitting on the hill W of central village with a sweet view of the church. All of a sudden a Bradley and some infantry rolled in the picture. I pulled my GLTD out to lase the ******* but I couldn't seend the coordonates, well, at least using the v0.87 way when pressing T commo. By the time I made my own sq so I can send coordonates as a sq leader, our mig was destroyed. So I ask you know, is there any way to lase targets without being the sq leader or having a sq leader kit ?

You can always lase a target by "firing" the laser off the GLTD by left clicking, doesn't matter if you are SL or SM.

Placing map markers are limited to SLs only, using the Q comm rose to set the distance and the type of ammunition to be used.

Yeah, you dont actually lase anything by pressing T. You just say lasing target.

Just get the GTLD and look at the target and, as dbzao said, fire the laser off.
