1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?
Not significant, but I could notice it wasn't performing as high as it was in .87

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.
9

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.
Lashkar Valley

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.
I always notice it near/in the poppy/corn fields

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.
All of them, have yet to play any of the new AAS maps, only insurgency. will update as I play them.

1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?
Yes, i used to get arround 30-60 fps in intense battles, now just walking i get 5-10

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.

5- I have not been able to really play acept one or to map...

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.

Dragon-fly averaged 5 fps... (really the only UNPLAYABLE MAP i have tried)
i had about 15 at the train depo, >5 for the feild in the north...

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.
Above

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.
I had some preformance issues, but by far, it was the least on beirut averaged 20fps
Iron ridge was.. ok....slow, but ok...playable-avereaged 17 or so fps
Archer was the other map i played... i averaged about... 21 FPS..

System Specifications

* Operating System : Windows 7 64 bit, fully patched
* CPU : Q6600 OC'd to 3.2
* Graphics Card : Radeon HD3870
* Amount of RAM : 4 GB, DDR2 800 5-5-5-12
* Sound Card : X-Fi XtremeMusic
* All drivers are updated; using Daniel K's X-Fi Support Pack 2.0 for X-Fi, and Catalyst 10.1 for HD3870.

* Lighting : High
* Dynamic Shadows : High
* Dynamic Light : High
* Anti-Aliasing : 8X
* Texture Filtering : High

1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?

Yes

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.

8

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.

Dragon Fly, Fallujah West, Operation Archer, Beruit

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.

Dragon Fly has issues with hard faults (the game has to access the page file, which gives you the random FPS spikes, usually). My commit charge is extremely high, sometimes around 5-6 GB. Usually, I suffer the most FPS drops when in the city.

Archer has problems with low FPS, usually around to the west of the main village.

Fallujah has low FPS when in the south part of the map, on the main highway, and it sometimes has issues when at the north insurgent main.

Beirut has random FPS spikes when flying a helicopter towards the city. One moment everything is fine, the other moment, your screen is frozen for five seconds.

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.

Oddly, there are almost no performance issues with Gaza Beach.

Pretty much all of the AAS maps work great, except for Silent Eagle and Beirut.

No big problems with any of the Insurgency maps that I have tested except for those listed. Lashkar Valley does have some low FPS spots, such as traveling on the main road through the village on a bike (going that fast takes a lot of rendering power), but nothing major.

No

when I had Windows XP... I would have given it 10/10 I was getting 110-120 FPS with no lag at all nor crashes...
but now on Windows 7 I start with 80 FPS and in like an hour it become 10-40FPS so I give it 7/10

1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?

Yes. In 0.87 my graphics were set as below, getting approximately 30 FPS.

Terrain : High
Effects : High
Geometry : High
Texture : High
Lighting : High
Dynamic Shadows : High
Dynamic Light : High
Anti-Aliasing : 2x
Texture Filtering : High

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.

Before turning down the graphics: 4
On current graphics settings: 8

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.

Lashkar Valley
Dragon Fly

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.

Lashkar Valley - Stuttering (had previously played Gaza Beach on the same server with no issue), not due to frame rate (which was staying in the 30's).

Dragon Fly - unplayable frame rates (3-6 FPS) in the city, mainly single digits. Absolutely fine over the the rest of the map though.

Had no issues playing Yamalia with graphics turned down (around 30 FPS).

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.

Gaza Beach -- was playing on 0.87 setting with no difficulty

Fallujha,Gaza,Luskhar Valley (All the New Maps, Except for Fallujha)

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.
Fallujha- While looking towards the city I drop to a solid 10 fps, while looking in the opposite direction I get 80 fps.
Gaza- Mostly while Inside the city. The out skirts I get a good 30 or so.
Luskar Valley- Just like Fallujha looking towards the center of the map or right when leaving the British Main.

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.
Dragon Fly, Fallujah and Beirut, Gaza Beach.

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.

In Dragon Fly the performance issues are noticable map wide, this is true with Fallujah aswell. The performance issues with Dragon Fly have been made somewhat more bearable with the lowering of Textures and Terrain to medium, aswell as disabling AA. Fallujah continues to deliver very low frame rates, often dropping below 10.

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.

Of those I have played in PR .9, none beyond those listed above seem to give me any issues.

Looking at the center of the map kills my FPS by a lot, Using any zoom on Yamalia results in a slideshow.

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.
Beirut, some small FPS drops but overall solid performance.

Maybe it's a new model causing a memory leak?

If 10 is the highest performance in 0.87 and 1 is a slide show in 0.9 then I would say about 6

Gaza Beach wins the first place in my ranking, Silent Eagle and Beirut (light stutter from time to time), didn't played others yet.

Gaza Beach - City areas and North East part of the map on the shore (near the gas station) are the worst

Iron Ridge and DragonFly was playable (but with small fps drop), also I've heard from my clanmates that couple of old maps works fine.

Especially on Yamalia. When looking across a large field while zoomed in, my fps will drop from 60 fps to 15-20 fps.

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.

The rest included in 0.9. I think the performance drops may be due to the intensive use of the new static fields on the 4 km maps. But I'm not complaining. IT just gives me another reason to upgrade my two aging 8800GT's. :grin:

1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9? I noticed a severe drop with my previous AA being 2x, but also due to the fact that PR had been stuck on VSync, which had never affected me in 0.87 previously, so I fiddled with the Nvidia panel again, and VSync was disabled somehow or another which kicked my frames back up above 60 and removed VSync's destructive framerate issue (where, if not running at 60, it would drop more severely than without...)

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.
10. I've removed VSync and went down to 0x AA and am reaching steady 70-80fps in most areas, and rarely dropping below 60 in game areas.

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.
Dragon Fly, Gaza Beach. Didn't play many other maps before I fixed the 2 issues I had.

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.
Gaza looking into the city, Dragon Fly in the city and near forests.

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.
Silent Eagle, Asad Khal and I would assume all 0.87 maps.

1. Have you noticed a significant performance decrease from 0.87 -> 0.9?

Yes, on new maps, i usually got <15 fps. on old, still around 30

2. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your performance in 0.9.

3

3. Name three or more maps in 0.9 which result in the worst performance.

Beirut, Gaza, Iron Ridge, Silent Eagle, Muttrah

4. From the maps mentioned above, state which specific areas/directions affect your performance the most.

Beirut: in the city, Gaza: Everywhere, cause its so small, visual on the city and the NE outskirts, Iron Ridge: almost everywhere, Silent Eagle: everywhere, Muttrah: visual on city

5. Name any maps that you have no performance issues with.

Kashan, Quinling, i think all maps with a small amount of entities/statics

/// performance is greatly depending on the amount of players
