This has happened to me before but recently it has become so frequent that I can rarely type in team chat anymore. Basically what's happening is that sometimes when playing PR I suddenly can't type messages. Sometimes it happens after a few minutes of playing and sometimes it takes a few rounds but is always occurs during one of my game sessions.
The bug doesn't let me type any kind of in game messages and when I hit the tilde key and try to type a command in there all I can type are vowels with dashes and lines over them (Don't know the correct term, sorry). Does anyone know what's causing this. It's making it impossible for me to communicate with anyone ingame.

do you have second keyboard layout?
i.e. i cant type when i'm on cyrillic layout
try hitting alt+shift, ctrl+shift combinations, they are usually default for switching between layouts
