How you doing everyone im fairly new to PR forums so bare with me, ive been playing PR since .8 and just installed .9 and its pretty amazing everything runs smoothly except for a few random times on a few maps i get this very nasty spastic pixel problem that covers the screen in quarter squares and it just flashes over and over again... i never had this problem with the other pr versions and it only happens every once in a while... i happen to take a good 200 screen shots on Lashkar Valley, that i can send via email if a dev replys to this problem.. the 1st thing i did to solve this was to unistall and fully install it all over again and its still happening...
And yes i do run my computer at full max.. all video settings are blasted on high.. got crazy ram run a 64 system and a 1 gig video card so its not performance problems i dont get 1 skip on any maps so i really dont know what the problem is any help would be appreciated .... thanks ahead of time.

Re: PR .9 Pixel Screen Problem
Can you post your system specs and a couple of these screenshots?
Have you installed all of the relevant drivers for your gfx card?

I've seen these white square flashes too.
I have 64 bit Windows 7 with a HD4870x2,a friend saw the same and he's running on 64 bit Windows 7 with GTX280 SLI.
Also on one of the FOBs I've seen a white square that's stuck there, its in the middle of it if you look from a certain side...it's in mid air.

The white square is the spawn point, it has been made as small as possible but is still visible from some angles. Due to the FB model it can't be hidden either.Stinger_SCUD wrote:Also on one of the FOBs I've seen a white square that's stuck there, its in the middle of it if you look from a certain side...it's in mid air.

Same map Lashgar I get these odd texture issues:

No problems with any other mod, and no issues with previous versions of PR.
Could this be a shader issue? I've seen it described on the FH2 forums Help.
Running the latest drivers on a a 6340 with 4gb ram, 32bit system and an AGP 3850.
Video settings:

Solosnake: That's a lot worse than what I am seeing, and I am also on ATI.
C:\Users\XXXXXXX\Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2
Delete everything in there to delete your cache,it should solve the problem.

Re: [0909] Pixel Screen Problem
I'm happy to say that my issue is solved by updating my video drivers to the most recent ATI available and clearing the cache. Everything is now on high and running lag-free!
