Karkland2 - 32

Sharqi - 32
Muttrah City - 32

This is partly due to test how often it crashes without Muttrah being on so often which is the usual problem map.
muttrah is not the reasons for the crashes. My server crashed on S@K lastnight.

Maybe not exclusivley but it seems the worst for it so that's why we've had to curb it's frequency.

We'll run with the new rotation for a week or so and see how things are. I'll let you know. Real shame as we all love Muttrah. :(

I've noticed the iGi server does not like Muttrah at all. Good thing is the server doesn't crash it just resets the map and disconnects everyone so were back on 30 seconds later.

Beside the aforementioned problem with Muttrah City, the .:iGi:: server is by far and away my favorite server. Good map rotation, two rounds per map with autoswitch, no armor or gunships pwning me (!) and a bunch of friendly, teamwork-oriented people makes chosing a server a no-brainer for me. The low ping times don't hurt either.

The only thing I would say is that I'm growing slightly bored of the current maps and think you should give Jungel Fever another try. It's actually quite a fun map and is perfect for a "no armor" server. [For whatever reason, I don't get any lag or stuttering on this "grassy" map with my 2 year old PC (P4 3.2GHz, 1Gb, X800Pro 256Mb).]

My two cents.

We've just added a couple of new maps into the rotation but i'm reluctant to add Jungle Fever as it's not that popular and looks horrible. We'll maybe add it at some point in the next few weeks to mix things up a bit again.

Jungle Fever is a horrific glitched map where you get raped lying in the grass everywhere because due to the game engine people don't see the grass at a distance. it's not much fun at all.

Change of policy with the armour on the maps? no choppers but tanks?

i don't mind tanks on maps actually, easy to waste them with AT and Mines.

No it's just due to our server being upgraded today and old server files being used. I'll get it set up like normal shortly.

actually, tanks are fine. it's choppers that need to stay off. first map oi came in on was the urban map with backyard and mosque and had such poor chopper pilots they didn't worry us. next was with the POW camp and bridge and the use of tanks and no choppers was acceptable really.

nope its not enabled, It would be great if it was, even if it was on low quality. Its the only server you can have a decent game on.
