Building in .9

Post by Ahzrukhal »

Can someone explain to me how to build in .9?

I understand you pull the radio out, right click to bring the radio to your face, then build the FOB, but i get a message that says you must set distance first... I don't understand how to build things, i tried for like 3 minutes at the beginning of a map and kind of failed my squad.. :o ops:

Please help me!

1. Select SL Radio Weapon

2. Right click to activate the radio

3. Look in direction to be placed

4. Press "T"

5. Select "DEPLOY ASSET" / "PLACE HIDEOUT"

6. Select the thing you want to place

This is page 27 in the manual FYI

Steps to set deployable structures in PR 0.9:

1. Get your radio out.
2. Press your right mouse button.
3. Hold T
4. Click on the deployable you want to build. It'll deploy 10 meters away from you, in the direction you're facing.

I think that's it. It was trial and error for me at first, but now I'm kind of used to it. It's sort of instinctive to me though, all of this, so it would be great if someone could confirm.

Q-spot and the building functions are now both on the radio, don't let that confuse you. You're trying to use Q to build an FOB, while that still remains the default key for spotting. If you follow the directions above, or read the manual, you'll be all set.
