I can tell you your problem right now Nebsif. You were shooting heat rounds at it. You fired two, you could of switched to AP and killed it easily, when i hear bombcars or trucks are alive i always swap to AP and just use the coax on infantry. Heat rounds never killed Big Red, why make dump trucks any less susceptable?

Never the less, it is a civilian vehicle, not armored. Heck, a HEAT round will destroy a Bradley in Two rounds, and one on a Sprandrel.

the man has a point, ive often feared tht the taliban and ins vehicles are more robust than armored vehicles sometimes, though thats usually so they can go over rough terrain without exploding themselves

Well, HEAT does stand for High Explosive Anti Tank. Realistically, a HEAT shell would take out any unarmored vehicle.

Its a TRUCK!!!! I expected it to blow up from ONE heat round as any civi truck in real life would do, cuz after all its project reality and not a mmorpg... and I didnt have the chance to shoot a bomb truck in 087, so this BS is new 2 me.

U cant because he sits behind a super high-tech-tank shell-proof-glass, the only way is to blow him up with the truck, which is rly hard to blow up..

Ive shot the driver out through the windsheild with my M16, and Big Red has always survived heat rounds on Bashrah...

Incorrect, in .87 on fools rd for example a spandrel required 2 heat rounds to kill it.
And i'm sorry but i agree with elvishknight in that if you know your biggest threat is alive on the map you keep loaded what's required to kill it ie: ap rounds. Once you have done that you can go on your merry way.

the blast damage was solved as said by Jaymz, but theres also the glass for the truck driver window. I was lucky enough to have barely survived a dump truck driving straight towards me while I was in the CROWS HMMWV and I fired about 25-30 rounds right at the drivers face and thankfully, while the driver did die, it took too many round to kill him just like how I shot a heat round directly at the truck drivers head on fallujah and nothing seemed to happen.

I played Fallujah West yesterday as American and decided to run armor squad, As we headed in the Abrams, we were taken out on the main road as the bomb truck flanked us before the gun was ready. ?
