[0909] Cannot start game

Hello, im cal and im here to report an issue that has already been reported, but in in unrulely fasion.

The issue i have is when i try and launch 9.09 it instantly crashes, saying that it crashed. I used the Firefox downlaoding... thing (not sure if it counts as direct download). I run a vista (GASP!) Yes a vista, but its only about 1 year old and still in very good shape. Im curtain its not the computer at fault. *no offence*. I downloaded from Realitymod.com.

It would be wonderful if you could help me without me having to download it again, i have already used more than 1/5 of my monthly banwith to download this mod, and im afraid i would have to wait another month untill i could try again.

Any other questions will be anwsered as soon as i cann get to them

I have the same problem. the games try to start and it goes black and back to desktop. All in a few sek. Think it is because i have a widescreen and the new patch 0.9 dosent support it. Hope someone know how to fix this

Run as administrator/Turn UAC off?

Try reinstalling everything related to BF2.

I would suggest to delete your video.con to reset your graphic settings.

I deleted the video.con file and it worked. I cant belive how easy it was. Thx a lot

I havent been in and testet the game yet but the game started.

Well, I'm having the same issue, but deleting the video.con file didn't help. I still have the same problem. Any other suggestions?
