Q/T commo rose?

hey so in this new release this system was completely overhauled. it looks great and is a lot easier to use BUT i notice it's not quite as responsive as before. back in the days of the old commo rose it only took a slight flick of the wrist to get to the button you needed, but now one has to make a pretty long stroke untill you get to the button. anyone else find this to be a bit annoying or am i just being lazy?

I have not noticed a change, feels the same to me, just looks way better :P

yeah i too didnt notice it at first since i didnt have much of a chance to use it, only recently i played a bit as a squad lead did i notice what a difference that little extra movement made in the heat of battle

Are you on about the extra effort it takes to switch to the SL radio, then right click in order to access the menu or the actual responsiveness of the function itself?

No. Sometimes the comm rose doesn't want to react to your movements. this isn't a fault of the new comm-rose but more of a fault of the lowered FPS in most maps. :3

Ah! I thought so yesterday as well. Some "buttons" are harder to mouse over than it was. I love the new menu tho!

From my experience, after setting the distance with the SL radio, the comm rose won't respnd at all (at least parts of it). After closing and opening it again, it works as before. Smells like a bug. Though maybe that's just like that for me.

I'm having the same problems, it isn't responsive really. If you're just asking medic or saying thanks, it's slow. And I'm sure this is not FPS-related, it's same thing on all maps, low or high FPS doesn't matter.

I love the look of the commo rose though.

the responsiveness (i love the new radio system THAT totaly makes things more exciting) remember in the old commorose one you hold down Q or T you only needed to move the mouse maybe 2-3 cm to get the selection to go to the button you want. but now i find i have to move it half way across my mousepad.

i find it confusing there are so many new buttons etc. some of its is hard to use

I'm pretty dam fast at it, but the problem is you get the in-out in-out scope bug that happens in BF2 sometimes (when you zoom in with a sniper and it zooms out, then in and glitches around). Kind of frustrating when you try to correct it then it does the same thing.

Still an excellent addition to the game though, a genius idea.

Having the same problem, after clicking some parts of it, other parts of it are very hard to select.

ok so after a bit more testing i've found that (for me at least) that when i'm scrolling over to any of the options on the LEFT side of the commo rose, no matter how far i move it, i'm required to stop and continue scrolling in that direction before it selects those options. it WILL however move the highlight off of the center, it simply does not show up on anything else on the left side until i stop and move again to the left.

once i do it a bunch mroe times and make sure its not a one round issue, i'll post it into the bugs forum. (yeah i've had some bugs that happen for a whole round but for only that round)

Yeah thats not just you, i noticed that too. Nothing major, but a bit anoying.
