Voice Not working.

Okay so every since i got my realtek motherboard my voice in BF2 and PR have ceased to work, it's REALLY REALLY low you cant make out what im saying even when i shout.

I have tried to change things but still cant seem to get it to work, anyone have any ideas? i have read a few threads about it but nothing in them seems to work for me

My mic works it every other game l4d 1-2, skype, steam etc although it doesnt work on msn anymore. anyone have some ideas?

to make things clear? you can hear people talking to you via voip, correct?
do you mean a realtek sound card or a completely new motherboard?

disable the auto mic adjust function in skype and msn (and netmeeting if you are using it)
tick the "mic boost" option in advanced windows volume settings for recording devices
tick the "mic boost" option in the audio options in bf2

if its just a sound card disable the onboard sound device either in bios or in the device manager, then reset bf2 audio settings

Okay its working now, it could of been the new PR patch that fixed it, or the face that i deleted the mydocuments/battlefield2 folder.
