Hey guys,
I ran a google search but couldn't come across anything helpful.
I was wondering if there were any suggestions in a way to decrease the time between maps when you're loading up.
I'm using Windows 7, with a Phenom x4 @ 3.0 GHz, and 4 gigs of DDR3. I don't think it's my system unless my HD is too slow or getting to close to full.
I also don't think it's my internet speed, I'm on a 7mbps connect (love college).
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Re: In Game load times
loading times are primarily depending on HDD access speed and file system fragmentation
since you cannot change the speed of your HDD you should at least attempt a defrag
with 4GB of RAM and WIN7 (if 64 Bit edition) I might even suggest disabling page file (or at least decreasing) - this way everything will be loaded into the RAM decreasing your possible HDD speed by reducing operations to only reading on HDD
if you are willing to spend some cache you can buy an SSD and move pr to that
there might also be a defect which applies only for IDE HDDs (i.e. not SATA):
sometimes due to faults on accessing the HD windows might set the access mode down - usually it should be UDMA-5 but if it gets decreased to UDMA-2 or even PIO the loss of data rates is significant
