Hello everyone.
I just recently upgraded my computer, and while I was at it I installed a new OS (Went from windows xp to windows 7).
On Windows XP Project Reality ran flawlessly. However, now that I am using Windows 7 (64 bit), every time I click on a server to join, Project Reality crashes to desktop. Yes, I am running Project Reality as admin.
Any ideas?

Re: Crash to Desktop on Server Join
run pr in windowed mode to get an error message (append "+fullscreen 0" to your shortcut's target line
bf2 needs Patches 1.41 and 1.5 (in that order)
at howmany percent does it crash (what does it say is being loaded?)
updated gfx drivers yet?

To answer your questions:
Yes, I reinstalled all of my drivers (included the drivers for my Graphics card)
The game doesn't crash while loading the map; I never even get that far. Instead, whenever I click on a server to join it, then the game crashes.
Edit:
Tried it again just now in windowed mode, and instead of crashing, the game just froze. Not sure if that changes anything.

Re: Crash to Desktop on Server Join
to make it clear i was talking about the newes drivers from manufacturer, not the ones windows propses - i'll assume you got the ones from nvdida/ati then
does this happen in regular bf2 as well?
please post your specs
is your pr up-to-date? did you install pr v0.9 (part 1 and part 2)? can you check if the downloads/installers are corrupted (e.g. using md5)?

Interestingly enough, vBF2 works fine.
PR is up-to-date, I even checked by uninstalling PR and redownloading/reinstalling 0.9 (part one and two).

Re: Crash to Desktop on Server Join
since you just reinstalled your system this is unlikely to work but go ahead and delete your "My Documents\Battlefield 2" folder - this will reset config files to default and might clear out corrupted ones
try it with all video settings on low or off
sry, i am running out of ideas
try reinstall with running the installers as admin as well
edit: i know this doesnt sound like your problem but try this:
manually updating pb is known to fix some ctds

make sure the installers are not run in compatibility mode
