Firmware Version : V1.02.19
About once a day, either the laptop (wireless) or upstairs comp (wired) lose connection to the network and need a router restart to get it back on. any ideas?

Re: Network - stations losing connection
are you using dhcp or fixed ips?
if an ip is used twice in the network the 2nd station trying to get the ip will not be able to connect
dhcp ips have a timelimit - so they time out - the pc trys to obtain a new ip and fails because its already in use
make sure the dhcp has enough address space/ips available

Re: Network - stations losing connection
in order to test if dhcp is responsible try setting static ips and see what happens. if the problem persists dhcp couldn't have been the problem.
what happens when the clients lose connection? does the traffic just cut? is the connection lost completely as in "cable removed" message or is the IP incorrect all of a sudden?
needs moar info!

static IPs fixed it so far.

Re: Network - stations losing connection
that is highly router dependant
some have a dhcp where you can set a range of address it uses e.g. tell him to use ips from 192.168.0.10 to 192.168.0.15 which would limit the the pool of ips to 6
its usually found in settings - network settings - dhcp (or IP addresses)
