Re: What to do with surrendered players :L
On Gaza beach, I had captured myself an enemy IDF sniper kit, wrecking up stuff with it when I suddenly found myself in a field, bleeding, and enemy infantry walking all through it. In the end, I decided to drop my kit where I could find it if I could make it back in time (And also wouldn't let the enemy take it back in case they shot me) and then fled away towards a car to drive to main. All in all, they shot at me but missed, and I managed to heal at main and then sneak back and get the treasured sniper rifle back. If you're surrounded and have a valuable kit, I think this is a good option.

Just recently played(Hamas) and surrendering seems to work 30% of the time
I layed down on the ground and then everybody for some reason rushed at me with bayonets and started hitting me untill i died

no, but srsly, lock them up. make a prison out of barbed wire somwhere. stick them in a tent and block off the door with a vehical or something. keep them alive, because every one you capture is one less player on the enemy team. and every rescue they send is either more people that they have to pull away for their mission or more tickets you cost them when you turn them into fertilizer.

Kill them. You are running on a schedule, surrendering players take up too much time to deal with, killing is always the best option. What to do with surrendered players :L

My solution: Give specialists and iron sighted riflemen restrainers.

Are you kidding me there is no ROE rules for killing unarmed players! I put my weapons down and walked up to a Merkava thinking he would lose points for killing me! Luckily he never and just tried running me over a couple of times, I just lied down and he went over me

I'v so far found the surrender function a good way of preventing the enemy getting their hands of valuable kits. Hid my Marksman kit in a bush away from the Talib and waited somewhere else with my hands up. I later returned to the bush to reclaim it.

Thats true, in private games yes. However, in pubs you can't trust everybody, example: knifefights, people enjoy them, then there are the dicks who shoot the enemy involved to get a kill.Albatross wrote:Role Playing in game can be a fun aspect ..

Re: What to do with surrendered players :L
I think Redamare mentioned a real good idea.
To my point of view locking the communication-possibilities is a very good idea, but only if killing a unarmed person will be punished all the time and not only for the first 1min of surrendering. (I think so the ROE are implemented best.)
