New mumble client for PR

Yo, 1.2.1 has been out for a while, now we even have 1.2.2.

The new mumble allows all the stuff people wanted, self registration, even less latency, better quality, more comfort and it's still small n tight & free of course.


Just asking if PR devs (Jaymz, dbzao one of you? oO) are going to use that new stuff or not.

0.5 does the job, but I just ask since I am interested in new technical stuff.

Also: I heard rumors about getting mumble INTO PR, not only as an application.
Is that even possible?

Id like to see in future versions, a persons keypad corresponds to a squad leader (1-9 if in channel) and enter/0 is to all. would be good if possible.

The most needed and really simply feature would be pre defined coordinates for people that doesn't transmitting there position to the murmur server.

We are not talking about features here guys, sorry to say, it's just a question I had.

When we get the official response that there IS a client on the way and that the DEVs ARE collecting feauture requests, we can make a new THREAD for sure.

But at this point, I am PMing helix.

I was just curious if the 1.2 Version of mumble would fix that problem.

We are experimenting with something exiting to do with mumble , but I am not going to say anything about it because we don't know if it will work.

It will take some time too

Just curious, what is different between "PRmumble" and "mumble".

I tried searching a few places but couldn't find anything explaining the differences.
Why is a special version required?

PR mumble has alot of settings 'hardcoded' such that the client can't change them, so everyone plays with the same.

plus only PR mumble can join the PR server.
