i feel they need a major up grade, there just to inflexible for a mobile army say if you deploy them near the front, then the front line advances/ you can't simply pack them up move them forward/ which is the problem.

what we could use is Fob connected to some kind of vehicle which you could then drive it to a location and then just deploy it and then build it just like the fire bases we have today, the vehicle then becomes immobile tethered to the fire base until need, you then have the option when you enter the vehicle whether to pack up the fire bases, and then transport it to it new location.

My aim is to make Fire bases a lot less awkward and stressful to deploy, say if some one makes a mistake and places them in a bad position they can then easily be packed up and moved.

If you have any thought's or sugestions please voice them.

Reminds me of CoH...

I thought the DEV's had a new base in the works? Or was just brainstorming that my brain misplaced?

they should bring back that the commander needs to accept the building of FOB's again its annoying when a squad just keeps rebuilding one that you keep on destroying because its not needed

COs can utterly wipe a firebase off the map. The only reason you need to do this is if you have too many, and if you need a new one, chances are someone is going to build that new one far away as soon as they can.
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

good idea except I think comader should be the only one to control that truck so that other players wont place it in some non usefull spot

This is a good idea to create a new gamemode as AAS, Insurjensy and other! Find and destroy the enemy's mobile command center! But for the standard mode need to do something else as an alternative to existing now in the PR FOBs.
