IED and AP mine individual detonation

would it be possible to make ieds and AP mines individually detonatable?
if a way to distinguish the mines as they where laid down is possible then you could put the detonater on a different kit slot, right click to arm it (like sl radio) and then press T and select which mine to detonate (Maybe like AP Mine 1, AP Mine 2, AP Mine 3).

would this be doable?

Actually..

I believe it is. It is a brilliant idea. If the cellphone was reworked to work like a radio, where you right clicked to activate it? That could, in turn, bring up a commrose that had "Detonate IED 1, 2, 3, 4.." etc all around the sides, and a big "Place IED" in the middle. Perhaps IEDs could be deployed in this way, using a similar system to FOB placement, except they'd spawn right where you were standing.


So, since commrose has 10 slots it could look like this:

-Detonate IED 1                           Detonate IED 5-
Detonate IED 2     (PLACE/MARK)          Detonate IED 6
Detonate IED 3                             Detonate IED 7
-Detonate IED 4     Detonate IED 9     Detonate IED 8-

When you placed the IED you could also place a marker like the waypoint markers the CO uses, except that they would increase in numbers with each one you placed. They'd stay, what, maybe 10 minutes or so? This could allow you to remember which IED was which.
