I apologize for my over reaction hehe. Yea there is an ADF Timor map in the works, infact i think there are two :D CodeRedFox is doing Dili, and the Island Chain map is also based on Timor. Probably best to talk to Tonnie about the progress on Island Chain though.

All I remember from that was there were Height Map Issues and we wanted to make it FarCry 2 ish style beaches and stuff etc. But from that it was all good. it was an enjoyable map. Still in the Build If I am correct

LANDING CRAFTS!?

Dude, if you get those things made, I'd love to utilize em myself. I've been wanting to make an Omaha styled PR map, but with only RIBs to use it seemed kind of lame.

It won't be Omaha, and if you are making one, don't they always fail because of the over defense, this map is 0% beach defence. If you do don't do huge defenses.

No, what I'm saying is that IM thinking about making an Omaha-styled amphibious assault map, and that if you have working landing craft (I'm talkin ramp open/ramp close), then I'd like to know if I could use them for the map.

i remember something about royal marines taking the docks at Basra IRL with landing craft, and a Aussie ship provided 5inch gun support. am i right or do i not remember correctly

600 Trees on ONE SUB island is what is overkill. Tbh Sniper, I would have worked a little more on this map, because right now it looks like your trowing it together in a hurry to keep this thread open.

Cool your jets dude, no need to **** all over this thread. If you've got a problem with it, go make a map you like better. People post their maps for helpful criticism and to show off their work. Just complaining about the number of trees on one island helps no one, unless you're just bored and being a jerk on the internet.

No, it is on 2 islands, but I think I might've did somthing wrong, i bet there is less than 200. It looks like I am in a hurry because I just created a new Island and started making a new town, I want to get the layout done then move on to smaller details, I am making a huge town on the main island. I have been busy doing other stuff as well, I want to have a layout by the end of march. The town will be a major project, It will have a unique feel to it, I don't want it to be lame.

As well, this is time I should lay down the law on this thread. Read carefully; Do not whine or ***** here, If you are, do it at your self, whine in your on thread.
