[0909] Weapon switching
When switching back to primary weapon, with certain weapons family, the character will re-rack the charging handle then flick off the safety, before you can sight in and engage targets. This adds a dreadful amount of time when you become engaged by hostiles and you don't already have your Primary up. Essentially this is the reality of having your primary rifle jamming each time you draw to fire it. In order to be true to the real steel, the operator should only have to flick off the safety while he is drawing and shouldering the weapon. That being said animation speed should be increased on the affected weapons, I'm gonna play tonight to figure all that are effected and post in this thread.

it's hardcoded because of the BF2's engine limitation.
to avoid it, just keep your gun out when near/ in hostile territory.

Well sure, but alot of the time, your squad duties require use of the rest of your kit while in hostile areas, it's so annoying, i think it's only the M-16 family.Killer2354 wrote:it's hardcoded because of the BF2's engine limitation.

Not a bug. We cant have more than one animation for pulling out your rifle / main weapon. Nothing we can do.
