Hey guys,
its been way to long since i have been here. glad to see you guys are still well and kicking!
anyways, I was wondering. I just got Battlefield 2 running on native Mac (using Cider). and i'm wondering. (I still have to set it up so that I can play online. but thats another story) is there a way that I could download the files (not the .exe, although I can if I have to. I have a PC [which sucks so bad that it can't run BF2 so don't give me **** about being on a mac] )
what i'm wondering, is if i could get only the zip files, and on that note. is it possible to get Project Reality running without having to run the .exe (by transferring the files into the correct folders)
any help would be greatly appreciated! I hope to see you all on the Battlefield!

i am not exactly sure of what you mean by ".exe" - do you mean the pr.exe or the installer.exe?
afaik it is possible to install PR solely by e.g. copying your friends BF2/mods/pr folder into your BF2/mods directory
however, you will have to run the pr.exe in order to play the mod
if you are trying to run the mod from inside bf2 you will most likely get an error message about needing to run PR from pr.exe

It should be possible. You need a full dump of BF2's install directory (that's some 8 gigabytes of stuff), taken at the moment pr.exe is started, but not yet stopped. E.g. start PR in a PC, kill pr.exe via task manager, exit game and copy everything from the install dir to a Mac.
