The current issue(realworld) Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN is equipped with back-up iron sights equipped atop the optic for short-range targets.
It would be nice if the ACOG in the game could have 2 scope settings, first right click would bring up BUIS (back up iron sights). Second click would take you to the optic zoom.
Even better would be an ACOG equipped with the Doctor mini red-dot on top. But this version usually appears on Spec. Ops rifles.

Re: Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN
there are 2 types of acogs issued to the US army. one with the ironsights on top and one without. idk which is more popular but i think having scoped and unscoped variants makes it easier to balance the game and it just easier in general.

I don't think it's possible, except with some kits, since this would require a new slot to implement.hartbilt wrote:The current issue(realworld) Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN is equipped with back-up iron sights equipped atop the optic for short-range targets.

It's going to destroy the purpose of having a CQC optic though, because in PR there's no simulation of the chin-weld you need to see the dot, and how off center it will be for extreme CQC.
The US Army would rather have you use BAC then some sights up top, I believe.

Locked for resuggestion.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
