The enemy kit geometries when you pick up enemy kit suggestion!
You all know that everyone looks stupid when he takes enemy kit especially when US or British take insurgent kits, but somehow FH2 managed to deal with this problem, I can't help you to tell you how but I can suggest you to ask FH2 moderators!

how would asking the people who police their forums help us out, i think you mean "developers"
Harrod200:"Fire.exe has committed an illegal operation and has been shut down"
Raniak : "Warning: May crash if fired upon."
M4sherman: "like peter pan but with tanks"

Well, this could be looked into.
As a side note, in reality you never pick up enemy weapons anyway...

wait..wats the problem? are you talking about how you will have a enemy helmet/pack if you pick up an enemy kit? if i remember correctly, the Devs did that on purpose in like .8 or something.

Untrue, and has even been proven by PR's military adviser.Hunt3r wrote:in reality you never pick up enemy weapons anyway...

Insurgents in Iraq were found to be using USMC M40's that they captured during the invasion.Hunt3r wrote:Well, this could be looked into.

And I'm sure they'd want to pick up any other weapon they could get their hands on, enemy or not.

I was under the impression this was a side effect of the "mixing" of kit parts of different factions to create the Taliban and Chechen geom's.
Untill all factions have unique geom's this is unavoidable.

Re: The enemy kit geometries when you pick up enemy kit suggestion!
The reason why FH2 dont have this problem and why we do is because FH2 has made all its player models and isn't using vBF2 player models which they are putting new gemos on. We are putting these new kit bags, helmets etc onto these models via the kit bag the player drops or picks up, not by the normal method of having the helmet etc part of the player model since we can't do that very effectively without the original export scenes etc.
As such, a small side effect of us getting all these new kit gemos is when you pick up a enemy kit, you also pick up there helmet etc which we think is not a big issue considering the gain we get from doing this.
In Afghanistan, Iraq etc Coalition troops are constantly finding L85s, M16, M4 etc etc in enemy weapon caches and the only reason why the enemy where not using them is because they had ran out of ammo for them etc, as many reports of seeing these weapons used against coalition troops in action.
If you also look around you will find many reports of Coalition troops in Afghanistan picking up enemy weapons for w/e and using them against the enemy, in fact you see all the time even on the BBC news channel British soldiers firing off RPG-7s at Taliban positions. There was one story I read a few years ago of a British solider in Afghanistan who killed a bunch of taliban from bursting into there position with his L85, killed a few, ran out of ammo then quickly picked up an AK-47 off of one of the Taliban he killed and killed the last guy standing with the AK. There is a reason why troops are trained to use enemy weapons before they are deployed into enemy territory.

Untrue. As others have already pointed out, weapons are constantly being picked up and "scavenged", epically in guerrilla warfare where the entire guerrilla warfare strategy relies on you taking the enemies weapons making yourself stronger where you make your enemy weaker.Hunt3r wrote:As a side note, in reality you never pick up enemy weapons anyway...
