Video / textures going crazy

Here is the deal. I start PR and play for a few min then all of the sudden the game locks up, then come out of it. The only problem is that everything looks wierd and messed up? I have all the drivers up to date.

ALL VIDEO SETTINGS: are set to low

O/S: XP SP3
RAM: 1gb DDR3
CPU: AMD Phenom II x2 545 3.0ghz Dual Core
MB: Asus M4A77TD
GPU: Gigabyte GT220 1gb ddr3

ohhhh....... wow........... Maybe try a reinstall? From my meager knowledge it looks like a problem with the game pulling the wrong textures for certain objects.

things to try:
0. clear bf2 cache
1. update your gfx drivers
2. check your temps (if overheating)
3. increase page file size
4. run chkdsk to scan for hardware errors

you should consider getting a RAM upgrade

If you still have trouble run battlefield cleaner to flush out your video cache files
