Could only find 2 articles mentioning it and that was from back in 2003 and the image links are broken.

Because a simple cone is probably enough
And Cid, that CB90 is one sweet thing. Would make a great asset on Zenos map.

Re: Show your models thread...(IMAGE HEAVY)
Little update on my university project.

(all textures are highly WIP)
Coming along nice and steady, but a little slow since I am all alone doing this. Quite the challenge to make your own game when you have to make all the artwork, GUI, game design, sound design and recording, programming and documentation while following courses and working on stuff like PR
Currently rigging the character and will be making a few basic cycles like walk, run attack, defend ect...
Next up is input from the web camera and hand and template recognition so that you can command your units with your body. Will give a demo once I get that up and running.

I'll stop spamming with this project now, as I am nearly finished with the bare backbone of the assets and now will be doing coding (which does not belong under my old "show your models" thread hehe).
Here are a few renders of the characters:

There may or may not be some greeks and barbarians if time permits me to make them. It all depends on the coding, documentation, testing and evaluation of the prototype.

Seems like I couldn't stop the spam...
Very rough WIP animation. Shows the modularity of the build up of units. Hoping to have it procedural but not sure I have time to implement it yet.
@ Elektro, yes I am fully aware of it
but thanks anyway

Very interesting little cute project you have going
The modular thing also is very nifty and would make the workflow quite streamline I would imagine..

Cant remeber if I posted this already or not.

Forced myself to try and finish a 'project' for once, even though it has hardly any detail, Its one of the few models I have seen from start to (near) Finish

Thats only after about 2 and a half years that I learned to be able to build basic models like that, some people pick it up real quick, otherwise its a lot of hard work to get good.

Well, welcome to my Armory:

And to my Milspec Party:

Those are the textures who i'm most pround of, came from 2 years of texturing experience. Off course i have did a hell of model combinations and texture variants as well as other texture jobs with other people, but this ones are the single models only textured by me.
If you guys want to see the most part of the rest you can go here:

It's like a miniblog from me.
Cheers!
