[COSMETIC] Red Dot Scopes
Making a suggestion that the red-dot zoomed-in Rifleman scopes use the old bright 0.87 red dot sight.
This is because when playing IDF (or any faction with scoped red dot), the transparent red 2D dot is not always visible at certain points during gameplay (dark areas, behind certain foilage), and especially when bleeding out (as the red dot blends in with the rest of the bloodstains)

It's being considered..

I'm pretty sure the intention is not to be 100% combat effectiveespecially when bleeding out (as the red dot blends in with the rest of the bloodstains)

Re: [COSMETIC] Red Dot Scopes
Is this seriously being considered?
The old red-dot was UGLY and took up too much of the scope. I'm in love with the new red-dot scopes, they're so pin sharp and precise. I have probably used the ACOG twice since 0.9 came out, where as the opposite was true before in 87 where I didn't touch a red-dot unless I was a crewman.

By that I'm sure he's referring to either the ACOG or the magnified reflex on the CTAR21, which uses dots that are not illuminated.red-dot zoomed-in Rifleman scopes

Re: [COSMETIC] Red Dot Scopes
when you use a red dot IRL you are suppost to turn it down to the lowest setting that is visible.
IMO the old ones were way too bright and now they are perfect.

It would be nice if the red dot scopes weren't 2d.. =\
Or if they didn't appear until the scope is actually on it.

Ah yeah, just to be sure I don't give the wrong idea, the Reflex sights are perfect, don't change those!
I should have said ACOG, or the magnified optics...

For the zoom scopes - yes.
Reddots? - no... the .909 reddot dots are PERFECT.

Re: [COSMETIC] Red Dot Scopes
He doesn't want to go back to old red dot, he simply wishes that some of the scopes would have 2d dot as well, instead of the 3d dot which is barely visible in many cases.
I agree with this, sometimes very hard to hit targets at long range when the middle dot can't be distinguished from background.
