processor choice?

im getting a new desktop soon but im stuck between buying a quad core processor or a duo core prossesor. i know this has been brought up all over the place but i couldnt find a straight answer.

will bf2 and PR work better on a:
3.00 GHz duo core
or
2.8 GHz quad core???
please answer quickly

The BF2 engine isn't multi-threaded ( it can't take advantage of more than one CPU) so the short answer is it will run faster/better on the faster CPU.
