PR CTD AS SOON AS I JOIN A SERVER

Im having issues with PR as usual... this time when I join a server I CTD with no error msg. can someone please help befor I lose complete faith in this mod.

sounds like punkbuster to me, try running pbsetup and make sure nothing is interfering with PB (e.g. firewall)

Are you in the server when you crash- or are you just hitting the join server buttion?

you can look for this if it crashing when you hit the join server buttion

Follow these steps and make sure you have a cd key slot =P

# Press Windows key + R (or alternatively go to Start > Run)
# Write the following into the opened window: regedit and hit ENTER
Browse through the keys (key is the "folder" you can see in tree to the left of the window) to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc (you can always see where you are located on the bottom of the registry editor window)
Also- if you are running 32 bit- it would be here
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc

That should be were your file.

If you do not have the ergc file- then you have to go and to the cd key thing agian.

It crashed on me on any online play- and it turned out that had been the reason for me.

If you have the file- and a cd key entered- idk what could cause it=P
