Get rid of the ability to have passengers... IRL idt they have passenger capacities. At least when I was in Israel and personally saw and watched the Merks in action they did not have this feature on them.

You are in fact, missing something.

The Merkava Mk.4 has a crew of four, including commander, gunner, loader and driver. Furthermore it can transport eight troops or three stretcher casualties in place of the ammunition load. Troops enter and leave the vehicle threw the rear hatch.

The Merkava can carry passengers if you study up on it at all with whats available on the internet. You will find that a Merkava can sacrifice ammo storage for passenger space. I believe its something like 12 or 15 rounds per person. With a max of 5 people inside the vehicle.
Since PR is fought in a fictional war we cannot assume the Israelis wouldn't use this feature in certain situations that would arise. So just because it may not be something you see all the time right now in Israel doesn't mean we should write it off.
Plus we have plenty of military advisors familiar with Israeli weapons systems and how they are used. Trust me we've got our bases covered.
