Hello there, I'm currently putting together a parts list for my first official build and was looking to gather advice. Here she is:

Corsair TX750W 750-Watt Power Supply - ATX, 140mm Fan, SLI-Ready, SATA-Ready

Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.50 Ghz

EVGA nForce 790i SLI FTW Motherboard - NVIDIA nForce 790i SLI, Socket 775, ATX, Audio, PCI Express 2.0, Dual Gigabit LAN, S/PDIF, RAID, eSATA, Recertified

Corsair PC10666 RAM - 4GB, (2x2GB), DDR3, 1333MHz, DIMM, Class 9

EVGA GeForce GTS 250 Video Card - 512MB DDR3, PCI Express 2.0, DVI, HDMI, VGA. SLI Ready

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007

Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 OEM

Cooler Master Elite 330 Black ATX Mid-Tower Case

All information regarding installation/optimization of OS would be appreciated have no prior knowledge of OEM software

I want to know if I can run PR on ultrahigh settings with 8xAA and 16xAF at 1280x960 with no less than 60 fps in any situation

Plus S&H total is $1034.34 all parts from tigerdirect.com

not much juice for the money tbh. i would:

1. not buy Office, but download OpenOffice for free instead.

2. Don't talk about abusing MSDNAA please, unless you want to get a ban?

3. use the saved money to spend on beefier components :D . id at least go for an intel i5 processor and a better video card.

i cant tell if AMD are more bang for the buck atm as ive never used any of their products, but do some research

Personally i would kinda go for the 5770 since it has DX11 and is kinda better than your card also has 512MB more RAM, also it uses less electricity and its only 10 dollar more expensive i think.
There is only one unforgivable lie That is the lie that says, This is the end, you are the conqueror, you have achieved it and now all that remains is to build walls higher and shelter behind them. Now, the lie says, the world is safe.? The Great Khan.

40k is deep like that.
