Besides, that quote is from the time PR community started experimenting with mumble in the first place.

can u read.

5. Player doesn't want to use Mumble since the enemy can hear him. It happens since we configured the mumble channels to have only one channel for both teams. It's a little annoying consequence even though realistic to some degree. Setting two separated channels is possible, but then you have the annoyance of moving to the right channel and everything. We are checking if we can setup a script that does that automatically. Also it's the same issue with TS, as people can just join the wrong channel the same way and hear the enemy plans.

and if you look at animal mother sig. He is a TG member. There opinion is biased because of their server. Everyone that played regularly on RT from what i seen like 1 better. That voting process was biased due to TG players outnumbering RT players.

It's all about opinions, respect that guys. Some prefer one channel, others prefer two. It's not a fact that one is better, it's not a fact that two is better. It's about opinions and personal experiences. Nobody is wrong!

But stay on topic guys, this is a SERVER FEEDBACK thread, not a discussion about whether you prefer to have one or two Mumble channels.........

Im played on RT more than TG and enjoy 2 channels more. Both one channel and 2 channel are unrealistic in there own ways, the choice of either is based on gameplay rather than realism.

OT: had some great games last few days, really good. Muttrah 2 days ago was epic!

Yeah, that round was outstanding. You can rarely see so much teamwork going on. MEC got quite smashed. ^_^

Yeah oustanding game's today on both Muttrah, Yamalia and Silent Eagle. Which was suprisingly fun for CnC gamemode. Great teamwork all round, just one thing I heard a lot were complaints about kicking people on mumble for apparently not being on mumble. Maybe im wrong but try and be a bit more careful who you kick in future i'd be pretty niffed if I were one of them

Game play is still up to a high standard, I would go as far to say as the player base become more acclimatized to mumble use it's getting better.

If you haven't tried TEAM (as opposed to squad) co ordination give it a try.

Even on an insurgent map last night (which I normally avoid) all the mumble comms meant that the insurgents constantly had targets being announced which made it quite fun knowing where to go for 24/7 action.

Good job Spawn commanding the ins last night.

I did prefer a one channel system, but after a few weeks I prefer two now.

I think, im the only squad leader who joined the only 2 nights where there was a little bit teamwork going around. What i want to tell is that, ok, people are in sl channels however, if they dont talk, or spam, this'll not be teamwork. It may look like it, but it wont be tw actually.I think the gameplay i experienced was a bit unlucky. .Anyway, when seeing there are so many positive comments, i'll not give up on this server and be back around. However, player database and squad layouts looked fine to me :)

And i want single channel back!! *joking*

Volks, there are certainly times when more teamwork abounds than other times, later in the euro evening seems to be better for teamwork.

But it is certainly something we should all do our best to improve by joining the SL channel and most importantly using it, and forcing others via admins to join then talk AT them.

We are working hard to make people get on Mumble, but we've seen some people rejoin 3 or 4 times after being kicked for not being on Mumble. A lot of new guys have got Mumble after being kicked so this is not really a big problem.

I think this happened at the time me and someone else were talking over the SL channel and you told us to shut up because we were spamming the SL channel. At which I responded; you to shut up. Because we were talking about where to strike with the CAS, asking if the laze was up..

Well it may be you but i didnt mean that day as "comms mess". On the other hand, i never tell shut up to people, i remember i was kindly requesting to keep comms clear so we can actually talk about necessary things. It was not against you but anyways i just wanted a bit simple comms just for a second so we could talk to other ppl about what to do next time on a cache.

And again, the actual comms mess was not that day. Moreover i remember you were trying to help us in the little village after the cache was blown so there is no reason for me to rage at you anyways.

As i said before, i'll be back around for this server, no worries lads. I just want to express the things happened on me and you know you cant keep the teamwork maximized ALL the time. S*** happens.
