problems installing BF2 PR 0.9 in windows 7x64/Fixed

Hello out there! Does anyone have the real recipe how to install BF2, PR 0.9 in windows7x64
it would be good if the BSS had any good recipes I've looked everywhere but can not find something that works!

Run all the installers without any compatibility tweaks and you're fine (I've got Win7x64 too).

1. Install BF2
   -----------------
   BF2:SF Expansion | --- If you have BF2:SF, here is where it should be installed.
   ----------------
2. Install Battlefield 2 v1.41
3. Install Battlefield 2 v1.5
4. Install the latest PR Build (Currently: v0.909)
5. Install PunkBuster system service
6. Update PunkBuster
7. Start regular BF2 once and retrieve or create your profile(s) before starting PR

If you are going to keep UAC on (which you should do, IMO) then you need to give your user account read and write permissions to your BF2 install folder's mods subfolder or run pr.exe with administrator privileges.

NICE!! It works! Ther is only one problem, i dont have full scren! Do yuo know howe to fix it to?

Right click your PR shortcut, select properties and make sure the Target-box contains "+fullscreen 1" parameter. It should be used like this:

<all the other parameters here here> +fullscreen 1

(please note the empty space in front of the plus sign and in between the parameter name and its value).

You can do wide screen as well add:
+widescreen 1 +szx 1600 +szy 1200 +restart
( change 1600x1200 to the res you want to run at)

You can also auto log in, add:
+playerName xxxxx +playerPassword xxxxx
Replace the xxxx with your info.


You can copy and paste this then edit it.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start +widescreen 1 +szx 1600 +szy 1200 +restart +playerName xxxxx playerPassword xxxxx

( remember you must have 1space between each set so it would look like this if * = 1space)

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"*start*+widescreen*1*+szx*1600*+szy*1200*+restart*+playerName*xxxxx*playerPassword*xxxxx
