What are the exact rules on the ROE for pilot(and unarmed, surrendering fighters) for nation vs nation, and nation vs insurgency? Recently I was shot down several times of a couple days- while attempting to surrender to both Insurgent and other formal armies I only got shot...
What are the ROE for a pilot(/surrendering fighter) surrendering to a formal army?
What are the ROE for a pilot surrendering to insurgents?
I was shot many many, MANY times- and I don't think this is right... please help

There are none. Players can do what they want with you

Yeah it was a option we added in that can be used for role playing or not. Besides the animation there is no code made for it.

I reminesce about one day in 0.5 PR when I was shot down in Al Basrah, and had to fight my way back to the Vehicle Check Point with only an M9 and a knife.... Now I just get shot in the face when I try to surrender...
****.
I understand the whole no pistol-no parachuter Rambos thing- but atleast a knife!

While i agree with the removal of weapons from the pilot kit (stopped all that sudo paratrooping)...it is rather unfair that those pilots that manage on that rare occasion to survive a crash/ditch are severly disadvantaged because any and all enemies can shot/enage you with no risk to them.[R-DEV]CodeRedFox wrote:oh no...not this again![]()
At least if you give them civilian ROE you give them a better chance to make it back to base in one piece

yeah i agree, it isnt really fair for the pilots now, theres no point in bailing since they can no longer fight, and they have no ROE to protect them either

We've been over this thousands of times. If you really want to delve into it look up the old threads and read those.
