death
I know this is alittle far but how about once u die u can't respawn u have to get a medic. if u are to farley damaged that medic can heal u then u respan u then u respawn. Medic has to be there to determin if they respawn I know this is confusing

i think it should be a hassle to get back to the SL cause then you death would have meaning. i dont really like waiting for a medic to go around and bring everyone back to life, cause 3 factors they can be newbs and just do solo **** or what if the medic dies? or what about if they only heal THERE friends or w/e to many vairibles to work it out

for the #2 its like asking why people hack they just do nobody knows really why, also i dont like the medic cause then again there is no hassle to get back to help the team it would just be ok medic comes ok hes back to life and then action will keep going on and on and death wont really mean anything. 5 people for a 36 or more server is way to small of a amount i STILL would not like the idea of waiting on some1 else. what if they cant get to you? what if your stuck there cause a sniper is coving you dead body

not really, if your shot and dead your dead... i rather be dead then be reborn(repawning) both ways are close. i medic doesnt have the power to bring some1 back from the dead but in a spiritual sence you can be reborned(spawning) into some1 knew

No, Im aware of that, I was replying to the topic suggestion. He was saying you stay "dead" lying on the ground until a medic finally comes around, which could be 2 secs to the whole round you would be laying there.
I agree BF2 has got it right. The length of your spawn time is how long the medic has to revive you.
I believe it was the BFCON 05 or something were they demostrated it, and whether its a bug or not, one try he just couldnt be revived. Thats gonna be hard on the medics.

This health feature you speak of, any links to its source?
Just curious cuz I havent seen anything describing how much you get shot determines if you can be revived. And Im sure by "blown up" you mean being in a tank and getting destroyed, thought that the outcome was obvious..
I may be wrong just want to correct my facts if I am.

Speaking of which.. I assume this BF2 "Man Down" thing will look like this?
This was some sort of glitch I caught.. the guy in that picture, LedZep, had just been flying a helo when it crashed and he bailed out just as it did so. He apparently survived it (it was a Blackhawk) but when the wreckage disappeared he was lying on the ground, as if he was dead.. he apparently wasn't able to move and stayed there indefinately, at 10% health, but apparently "half-dead". I guess this is what the man-down state in BF2 would be like?

Explanation of Man-Down state:
Every played FH? Well, half the time when a tank gets hit in that mod, it lights on fire, goes to zero health, but is still alive, and you can still aim the turret and fire.
People now work like this (in BF2): They have 100 health. When their health is 0, they go into a man down state, where they have 10 seconds to be recovered by a medic, or else they die (after they die, I think then they go through the normal spawntime thing that is dependant on thier score). If, when they die, they are shot in the head, blow to pieces, etc., thier health will be below some magic negative number (lets say -20). When they cross this threshold, they instantly die, as they have taken way too much damage, and are beyond whatever the magic negative number is.
So, the first time in the BFCON video, the guy put like 3 3-round bursts into his chest. This killed him, beyond the mandown state. Then, he put 2 or 3 3-round bursts into his legs, which didnt kill him, and put him in the mandown state.
PR (hopefully) will do something like this. Incorperate the bleeding system, have the cool ear ringing and tunnel vision like in DCR, CS:S style gore (if possible), a mandown state, and a pain meter that morphine heals and a blood meter that bandages stop from decreasing, and I like the damage system.

solo was right if you get blown from a tank you dont get revived, its on that bf thing in germany, when they have it in english and they go all the way back to that ww1 mod (eagle somthing) then bf1942 then showed another clip on bfv then showed another clip on bf2 then two lucky dudes got to mess around and play and show everone the things the dude shoot the other dude in the head and tryed to revive him (they were on teh same team) but then he TKed him on the leg then he could revive him.
