Lashkar valley fixed?

Post by Sgt. Mahi »

So for the first time I played a whole round on Lashkar Valley in the 24/7 insurgency server without any lag what so ever. Has there been a fix for this map that I wasn't aware of?
This was by far the most laggy map for me before so I was quite surprised that it ran so smooth.
Love the map but the DoD needs to come back. We just raped the f out of the british forces

That's really weird. It ran as smooth as all the old maps this time.

I did run the MzRam Booster program in the background with optimizing every 5 minutes but that did nothing for me on Gaza Beach.

Ever since I got the Mzram program, I can actually play on lashkar valley now too. Before I couldnt even play it.

hmm,thats weird.
but also that is weird that i got huge fps problem in muttrah.
it worked fine in 0.87 and even in 0.9.
me and my friend were building fob.no lag.
then everybody start to spawn in our fob,so basically everyone was there and i got huge fps problem.
if i remember right i got this problem with bots sometimes when i tryed singleplayer, but now i have it in online.
also same thing happened in qwai river.
there was a fob and maybe half of team spawned there and rushed to the flag.
we spawned after them and get it fps problems.
i really dont have problems in big maps maybe cos players are more separated.
but when playing 1 km maps...fps-lag
what changed in muttrah 0.87 to 0.9?...

What about Gaza Beach then. Did it fix that map for you too? Also just wondering, have you been playing on Lashkar Valley on both teams with no lag?

Actually Ive never really had a problem with gaza beach. Lashkar valley ive only played a few times as the servers in my area barely ever play it {or anything besides muttrah} but the few times I played it I was always british.

But in general all maps play more smoothly for me now thanks to the Mzram program.

Yeah MZRam has fixed 75% of my lag issues, most of the time the problem maps are much more fluid now with only a hiccup here and there.

Are we all sure that the MZram thingy isn't a placebo?

I never had any lag but I have had base raping. Not fun baseraping but spawncamping. And the british loose all their vehicles.

Very interesting. I've yet to try that MzRam.

WRT baseraping - enjoy it while it lasts. Will be fixed with the next update.

Would I be allowed to add a DoD to my server without a password?

If so, who would I talk to?
