PR guns are too hard to hit anything with
I was playing PR today a i relised that the guns are **** and you cant hit bad guys at all i wait 4sec between each shot and aim and the chest and no rounds hit them they go left,right,up or down. Its not that i a bad player i've play PR for 3 years and it only been this bad in 0.9 please fix the prob in 0.91 its unbearable.

Sounds like a personal problem. I can shoot people just fine, and it seems they can do the same to me.

Did you by any chance happened to use an automatic rifleman kit?
With AR's four secs is not enough, you have to wait full eight secs for deviation to settle.

The deviation with the assault rifles beyond 100 meters is just ridiculous and nowhere near reality in my opinion. I'm a professionel soldier, and have been for quite some years now, and I can effectively hit anything up to 500 meters with an assault rifle. However in PR I can aim 4 seconds or more on a guy lying prone 187 meters away and miss him several times. Being prone, lying still and aiming at the same spot for 4 seconds with proper breathing techniques in real life there is no way in hell I would miss anything closer than 200 meters.

Deviation is fine, IMO. PR or BF2 engine in general does not have means for separately simulating all the factors that effect person's ability to hit targets in real life, like fatigue, weapon mass, weapon sway, weather condidions, time of the day, weapon zeroing, adjustable sights, personal experience, visual capacity, etc. etc. So all these have to be combined into a single variable we know as a deviaton. Game play/balance have to be taken into consideration too. maybe you should realise that this lack of accuracy everybody seem to be complaining about is carefully thought out by the devs, their goal is to create realistism, and longer firefights than bf2 standard is realistic 
also, if you can't trust yourself to kill every bad guy, maybe you'll stop running around and stick with your squad

I myself love the deviation right now, not too long or too short. And remember if hes any closer you dont have to wait 4 seconds

The deviation is far improved from what it has been in previous versions and if you really have been playing PR for 3 years then you'll remember v0.8 where the deviation was absolutely massive. If you found that worse than the current set up then I don't know what to say....

I dont know why everyone is complaining i love the deviation now .8x had horrible deviation
now its much more realistic especially because if you press a directional button once it doesn't resets.

Do you also make accurate shots after running for 15 minutes and are breathing heavily in under 4 seconds
with full gear.
I can hit very accurately i usually kill someone with 2-3 shots (with a scoped weapon).

Just to make sure , unless the target is very far away (200m+) dont go prone. just crouch.

Hi, yea I'm pretty sure you just suck. I can kill people fine and dandy. Even with the AR kit.

The devs did carefully modify deviation since .7. If you wanna complain, find .7 or .75 when deviation was HORRIBLE. If you even moved a little bit it completely reset. So stop whining and realize that the reason it is there this late in a BETA mod is because it WORKS.

I just had a round where I killed 12 brits on al basrah from anywhere from 100-250 meters away with various ak's.In turn I only got shot twice. In my opinion the deviation is fine so long as you know how to properly use it.

I like it how the deviation makes it very hard for one person to take on a target. With the system, effective killing is best with a squad unloading their weapons on the target. With four to six times more bullets firing at the target, one of them is certainly bound to hit him.

It is all about timing, with the new system my killing score got better (especially in CQC against insta-proners ^^).
You have to take your time even though it can be hard in the midst of fire, take your time to aim and make a pause between shot (there is a useful post with all the seconds of every weapons). The most relevant example is the saw, now small spacing bursts are deadly.
There are no secrets, you have to know your weapon which varies from factions and kits (recoil, accuracy, sight,...).

The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities... It is best to win without fighting.

Depends on what rifle.
Good Rifles:
AK-47 (All AK's are the best in full auto groupings or have the least kick)
AK-74
AK-74U
C-7 (Is Marksmen Accurate at times)
Enfeild SMLE (Will hit a dime the second you stop or if you can hit medium ranges without scope)
M-4 (The Full auto one is the best CQB gun)
M-16, A1-A2 (A1 Is very accurate but big full auto kick)
G3A3 (kills in two shots)
L-86 (Marksmen Variant is better)
all basic rifles and are a lot better
The sniper rifle hits but you have to wait for over a minute staying prone to hit at sniper ranges now.
The M24 is the best but the SWS gun in my brothers opinion Does not hit at all and I have watched him at times not hitting targets with the SWS with sights lined up for the kill. The Enfeild is the second best one that kills on two but can bleed out with one.
The Marksmen rifles are a lot more tricky now because of the whole bi-pod thing still does not quite work.
The SVD still works as good without a bi-pod and is know to hit sniper ranges from 7.5
The Type 88 is a fine Chinese gun because the qbz's do not have a quite as accurate grouping with random bullets off to the side at times.
SG1 is now not as good because the G3 out preforms it in more adaptive combat situations.
M-14 is the only American gun that bleeds in one or kills in two shots, but is almost as bad as SG1.
Best Guns for me? G3A3, C-7, AK-74 UGL, AK-47, SVD, L-86, Enfeild SMLE and scope. All have proven my solo kill sprees.
All AR kits as my brother says is almost as better as a sniper.

I find the deviation to be perfect in this game and almost as ideal as it could be. Although i'm not in military service I would assume only hardened battle vets would be able to acquire a target and fire accurately in 4 seconds during a heated firefight. Just my ten cents.

Also, It wouldn't hurt to have 1 less second of deviation.
The only thing I HATE is the british marksman. thats terrible.
Plus deviation for the Auto M4's and Auto M16's are so so much less then they are for the US. Lrn2 Balance.

The only thing that makes it hard for me hitting things is that the Iron Sights/Red Dots are a bit too far away, like he`s holding the gun 1m away from his body, a bit unrealisitc :-/ . A little zoom effect (Factor 0.8 ?) or the sights closer would be nice.
