Isnt that player model the US heavy one?
Why not use the PR British player models or do they need to be redone too?
Yeah not trying to sound horrible or anything just asking. Keep up the good work new kit geometry is always welcome since the player models are rarely made from scratch because the face rigging.
Lets hope your done in time for Sangin.
Oh yeah and that greenish blue dyed camo kinda reminds me of the new NLAW.

there are two reasons why i decided to use the us player model...

1. The British player models create a terrible pulling effect to the vertex along the back when animated and also in other areas. Another reason is that the brit player models are scaled wrongly, so when you steal a brit kit as an insurgent you often find your head poking out of the helmet etc..

2. The british now use a new version of ospry and this looks alot more like the us player models body rather than the brits..

anyway another screeny, with the new osprey ;)

Hurry and finish the models, becouse when you get your R-CON tags us non tagged can't see your work :D

It is excellent work you have done on these models, especially seeing as you have made your own textures, and done this in a short time period aswell

In my opinion you should be getting those R-CON tags soon.

Yeah i was getting kinda sick of seeing Taliban and insurgents running around with helmets that didnt fit correctly or Brits heads sticking through the Tali head wraps. :wink:

Very nice work, thank you so much for making new player models and kit geoms, dare i say it i was more excited about your work, than the new US Army kit geoms when i saw it. :-D

Good choice.

The PR Team went firm on the decision to redo the kit geoms instead of creating new player models a while back. It's a requirement for all COMFACs as well.

Come October we will be deploying with MTP. Big ask, but would it be possible to do a MTP version of the camo clothing as well? For the next year or two, the Osprey and PLCE will stay in DPM/Desert anyway, so just the clothing really.

The EoD soldier models, they are vBf2 models but somehow they managed to edit them, how did they do that? I thought all Bf2 stuff was protected from editing? The FARC soldier models are from EoD.

Not sure, the pic is from a Micheal Yon article, which can be found here, there are plenty of reference pictures in this article and you can find a few more like it on his website. They all containt high quality reference pics of British soldiers.

Im gonna jump in game to EoD to see if these faces work with the facial animations.

And how to they get a head onto a body i mean like if i wanted to put a Chinese head onto a Civilian body how would that be done? Can it be done in the .tweak files?

Well i know that pride has created an mtp variation of these models, however from the looks of things his textures are still using the old osprey armour? So if possible I may get in touch with him and see if we can collaborate on using my new osprey variation?

And thank you soo much for the support guys! Im so glad that people appreciate my work!!! Its a great feeling :D esspecially being told that i deserve R-con tags!

Im currently in the stages of just creating the actual kit layouts themselves now and soon that should be all the hark work almost done. I must say a big thank you however to readmenace who has been helping guide me along the way and for supplying me with us player model ;)

They should make the British more of a sea nation in pr because that is sort of their main thing in real life
