Though I have fixed the crashing to desktop error when loading new map (I changed all settings to medium and audio to hardware) I hate the horrible graphics right now, I can run the game without lag on high but the crashing to desktop is annoying. Is there a way to fix it?
Intel Core 2 Quad q6600 @2.40GHz 2.39GHz
64 bit W7 & 32 bit WXP (Not with PR installed)
4 GB RAM
ATI 3870 HD
If anymore info is needed, tell me.

Re: Crash to desktop loading map
Your system should handle higher settings, generally. Of course this depends highly on the resolution you are trying to run.
Are you by any chance using an Xfi sound card? This can cause issues. You could try to lower your audio settings to "High".
Run PR in windowed mode to have it generate an error message when it crashes: append "+fullscreen 0" to your shortcut's target path. Google the message, post it here.

I was pressed the high button with 2x aliasing, the resolution was around 1000 x 800 or something. I don't think I'm using that sound card but i'll check and do that windows thing.
