It seems like the admin in question (Bluffer_UK) starts on his shenanigans when all of the other admins leaves, and thinks he can get away with it. Can't say I'll play here again, not until an audit of the admin system is left to competent people.

Bluff is not an admin on our server m8 so it must have been someone else. I will look into this for you.

Thanks. He probably just got one of his friends to do it for him, it was a heated discussion that shouldn't of been nothing in the first place, if it weren't for his asinine comments and his squad's lack of contribution to anything at all during that round.

listen mate we dont tolerate any player or admin abuse we have chat logs of what was said
and disturbing a game in play is out of order and not accepted

you was temporary banned perhaps if u took notice to y u was kicked/banned you would of understood

and to be honest if ur not happy the way our moderators(spy's) and admins work then i suggest u avoid our server because it seems plenty of ppl do like the way things are run

everyday we have some one whine about something that hasn't gone there way and they was kicked for it if you just took the time to read our rules b4 u make ur own up then it wouldnt come down to this

and to blame another clan for banning u is silly just coz there wasnt no UKWF tagged admins on doesnt mean there isnt a uk warfare player playing untagged there

Hey Shutze I have looked at the chat logs and I think it was a heat of the moment thing between 2 parties which is probably best forgotten so we can all move along.
The ban you received was a temp one for 48 hrs so as soon as that's up feel free to join the server again and I hope that there's no hard feelings all round.
I shall speak to the admin who banned you as I feel it was a bit harsh and then we can put this to bed and get on with the game.

see you on the server sometime hopefully.

"Too arrogant to play on this server" was the reason I was banned, for just suggesting that people actually get off uncaps and get on the real objective. I thought that was one of your rules. There's a difference between disturbing gameplay and actually being constructive in suggesting that people actually take part in a game, like I was trying to put forth. Instead, I was met with smart *** comments and a kick. Perhaps you should actually look into the situation instead of assuming what happened and work towards a solution, rather than being overly defensive and critical.

But I'm not unfounded if you think that there's no 'connections' between player and admins, its pretty much admin abuse if a friend tells they're admin to kick someone just because they want to win an argument. And if someone complains everyday about something with an admin, don't you take that as a sign that something MAY be wrong?

And Smiley, I thank you for your time and effort looking into this. Like I said, it was something that never should have never been. Its what happens when frustration and little comments that fuels the heat in an argument. Not a lot of admins go out of their way to look at such incidents, and its appreciated. I look forward to putting this behind.

Could you guys maybe turn on the BF recorder in the foreseeable future there are so many awesome and funny things that happen on the server that I and perhaps other players would love to record personally that is the only fault I see with it and it is the only server I actually play the game :p

UKWF AAS Server Rules

* Do not attack uncap unless AAS Says so-If a Flag is not Cappable by your Team then Do not Attack it, Clearing out is fine, however camping at the flag when it is not in play.
Do not attack runways on Kashan/Quinling and Future AAS maps that feature main bases with destroyable

*Enemy Bases are a No Go area, unless the last flag is cappable. Players seen to be base camping will be warned or kicked or banned if the action does not cease. We have zero tolerance for base rapers. If the Last flag is in play, please attempt to cap it and end the round, its no fun for the enemy team to have to lose their last 200tickets without a bleed, and just by being Spawnraped.

These rules need clarifying for me or at least to some of your admins.

I was just given a 'last warning' without breaking any of these rules. Either *unnamed* has invented a rule I don't know about or he is way too eager to use his server administrator abilities...

Airfields on Silent Eagle are classed as uncaps until AAS says so due to the large amount of assets there and the ease for someone to walk in with some ammo and an engie kit and destroy jets etc before they get off the ground.

I wasn't on for that round but that would be my best guess why you were warned.
You were just warned right? not kicked or anything?

I was warned, yes. But I left the server because it's stupid getting warned for such a thing when:
  • I was 200 meters from any cap zone.
  • I had not fired my weapon once, nor did i intend to.
  • It was about a minute since the enemy had retaken the flag, then I was warned.
  • I was not attacking.
  • I did not spawnrape, nor did I intend to.
Until someone literally draws a line showing where I can be and where I can't, it's a stupid rule.

It's rules like this that causes people to not even bother defending the flag. It is a cappable flag, therefore contestable. It's way too gamey to be told to leave an area that you've been watching for a while the second the enemy takes the flag. The flag is cappable for a reason, it's what the map designer intended.

I guess the admin in question thought I was there to spawnrape seeing as I had an enemy sniper kit but he failed to ask me my intentions or really check what I was doing.

good day.

Fair enough but my point is, had I sat there and continued to do nothing, I would have more than likely been kicked.

Just had a great game on Kashan. That is, until half the squad was banned for camping with AA, even though we'd been doing infantry all round. Another example of bad admining on this server. Ban was dished out by some idiot called dunham66 or whatever. I'm not going back to play there anymore. You can't just dish out bans to whomever you think are doing something wrong, try and do a little research first, maybe ask who is camping the main, not kick half a squad that's been doing nothing but infantry-work for 2 hours. Maybe you should have a talk with these power-happy little teenagers that's supervising your server.

The foolish assumption you make that any admin decision that you don't like is carried out by a teenager is laughable, maybe you should try a little research first.
I'm not taking sides here but if you want to be taken seriously try to do it in a less angry way.this is a gaming forum not the Nuremburg trials.

If you would like a calm reasonable explanation of the situation please feel free to visit our website where one will be given.
If all you want to do is rant and sound angry then......................... well I guess you've already got that part down to a tee.

It's their server and they can do exactly what they want. I've had some not so nice experiences there, but overall everything usually gets sorted and most people are happy. I suppose they are doing something right since the server is full all the time? :P
