BTR-60 the MEC APC
The BTR-60 is still higher, wider, and as long as the Russian BTR-80 (should be smaller)
The Texture looks a bit to shining compared with others, and the camouflage patterns is a bit to blurry.
Movement is tested on "gravel"
Its max speed is somewhere at 72 km/h offroad (RL: 60km/h offroad (warfare.ru))
its climbing power is up to 60%, but at a transverse gradient of 40% the BTR60 is already sliding downhill. The back of the vehicle seems to slid faster, this leads to a turning of the vehiclewhile driving on a slope.
The turret is stabilized but i coulnd find any indication that its RL counterpart is stabilized, too.
Armor:
this stats are tested only on lokal so far, it was tested on the armor of the right sidearmor, from aprox 100m. The vehicle was either destroyed or set on fire (and blown up after some secs)
12,7mm/ - /WZ551A/ 26
14,5mm/ - /VN3 / 149
25mm /AT /LAV25 /57
30mm /HE /BMP3 / 66
30mm /AT /BTR80A /53
125mm /HEAT/ T72/ 2
125mm /Sabot/ T72/ 4
and one TOW...
so to say the .50 is one of the most dangerous weapons against teh BTR-60 wile somewhat invulnerable to sabotrounds.

I think the same apply s to the M113.
Easy to kill with a .50 cal but it needs a lot 14,5mm ammunition to take it down.

I'm sure most of that testing is accurate (maybe not due to local) and I know the M113 has that issue. Though on Muttrah City the BTR-60s go down with between 15 and 30 AP from the LAV-25, so I don't know where you got 57 from.

used us_apc_lav25 against mec_apc_btr60
so exactly the same as in muttrah and i am quite sure about the AT-round count. (made a video
wold be a pitty if lokal is so far off because creating a lokel to train would turn obsolet.

It needs 32 12.7mm shots to get the BTR60 burning.
Edit: Something is wrong with this. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't even scratch the vehicle on the same spot.
BTR60 attacks BTR60 on front armor.
It needs 149 14.5mm shots to get the BTR60 burning.
LAV25 attacks BTR60 on front armor.
It needs 22 AP or 78 HE shots to get the BTR60 burning.
M1A1 attacks BTR60 on front armor.
It needs 1 AT or 2 HE shots to get the BTR60 burning or blown up.
BMP3 attacks BTR60 on front armor.
It needs 20 AP, 64 HE, 6 HE-FRAG or 1 Rocket shots to get the BTR60 burning or blown up.

on lokal .. yea 100% sure
on the armor.. the tires are still a weakpoint ... 15 round of 25mm or 1 sabot is enough on this part...
please Bubba maybe u can check it out on this map ... because i still need 57 25mmat to the front armor... (without hitting the tires)

ok found another weak point for me ... shoting the lights at the front side sets it on fire after 13 rounds
on the armor.. the tires are still a weakpoint ... 15 round of 25mm or 1 sabot is enough on this part...

Tricky, on this map I need 57 AP shots to.

I think you need to test it on the dedicated server,the local configs are somewhat different.
Don't try to do it on the full server
Just pick an empty one and bring another person (s) with you, so you can operate the weapons and line up the vehicles.

Shouldn't the 14.5 mm cal. be more destructive then the 12.5 mm?

nope... unlock the teamrestriction on the vehicles .. after that you can enter eg. all non-usmc vehicle as usmc and all non-mec vehicle as mec.. you even dont need a crewman kit.

You dont need to be a coder, i have done it in the mapeditor...
should still be working ; just create a new folder in your ...bf2/mods/pr/levels name it testdrive and extraxt the files there...
