Sorry if this is the wrong place to use this topic, but when I play on servers sometimes when there are more than 5-7 people firing or using air-mobile vehicles i get serious FPS drop (down to maybe 3 FPS-I cant tell). Is there anything I can do to get it back up? I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo.
Thanks.

Re: FPS Boost needed
Theres a few things going on here.
1. You are using a laptop with integrated graphics processing.
2. Currently after the 0.9 patch many maps and things are unusually laggy, and there is a fix in the works for many performance issues.
There really isn't much you can do with your laptop, run everything on low... try finding a low performance tweak also.
If you have money to spend on new parts, I will gladly help you pick parts for a new desktop computer.

I have to agree, 99% of laptops out there can't run 99% of games without severe performance hits.
I just built my wife's computer from newegg for about $500 (monitor not included) and now she has a EVGA 9800GT SuperClocked, AMD 2.8ghz DualCore, 4gb RAM, 500gb HDD, and a nice cherry red case with 460W PSU. The only thing she does is Facebook and Farmtown but she would have no trouble playing PR.

Well thanks guys. Yes, boilerrat, I am accumulating money slowly for hardware things so if there is a reasonably priced desktop (or laptop, as I take it with me wherever i go) with good Gaming attributes, that would be awesome. Thanks for your help again.
