A-Helicopter, Hydra?

I've been wondering this for a while and final got around to asking, why does the British AH-64D apache longbow have hydras. I thought they used a flechette rocket and some other high explosive rocket, not the same as the US army uses.

If i'm wrong, or they are the same. Please tell me because i found this in a book, "Apache Dawn - Ed Macy" and it is really bugging me.

(btw if it is in the wrong place plz move, wasn't sure if it should go in the military tech)

Uses CRV-7s, the flechette is just a type of warhead.

In game there is no difference, and also the british apache uses the same hud as the american one. RKT or Rocket would probably be a more accurate term in any case.
